connect your child to
God, to His Word, and
develop Christ-like friendships to
connect with the world
and our community. All of our volunteers are required to
participate in annual child safety training
and background checks. If you ever have a question or concern,

God asked His people to do a lot of seemingly crazy things – and He asks the same of us. But we can be strong and brave, knowing that the God of the universe is with us wherever we go.

This week kids learned, the people of Israel HAD to think God was crazy! He didn’t want them to fight their enemies – just march around their city over and over again. But when they had done all God called them to do, the walls of Jericho came crumbling down. It turned out God’s instructions were GOOD. We can follow Him knowing He has our best at heart.

Kidzone Update - after the basement flooding:

During the worship hour kids in Kindergarten and below will have class and care in the church office area. Please check in and pick up from the front office, enter from the outside door near 22nd street (look for the KIDZONE sign)

1st -5th grade students will be in the main service with you. I have purchased a variety of new Bible activity books. Your child(ren) can select a book and collect their blue Kidzone bag with their name on it. Each week after service drop the bag, with the book and supplies inside, off in the labeled bin and I will refill the snack and organize (a-z by last name) them for easy pick up the next week. If you choose to take the bag home and your forget to bring it back please use the single use praise packs that will still be available on the back table.

Connect Group, will be meeting soon with the kids classrooms upstairs in the worship center and office area. Look for another text, email or facebook update from when we will start Connect Groups again.

Reminder - The Back to School Family Party scheduled for today has been cancelled. Sunday childcare for 4 and under will be in my office area. All other kids will be in service with their families.

Take time to ask Jesus to reveal what needs to be resurrected within your heart this year. Ask Him to shine His light on those places where you’re not living fully alive in Christ. Let this Easter be personal, prayerful, and powerful for your heart.

Dear Lord, help me remember You chose to be born in a humble manger, not a beautiful home. And didn't even have a place to rest your head. You willingly washed Your disciple's feet, covered in dust and many other dirty things, instead of demanding they serve you. You rode a donkey ... not a chariot or sleek horse.
Your humility and servant's heart are astounding and amazing. Please help me act like You today. Amen.

Our relationship with God should always cause us to extend mercy to our neighbors in need. Love is not walking past pain. Love is when mercy meets human pain and suffering.
Let’s honor our Lord by responding to the needs of others as He would.
Heavenly Father, please show me where my love has grown cold. Forgive me for my selfishness. Open my eyes and heart to truly see others, and help me to love them as You do, fully and sacrificially. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

• Let your children see you read and study your Bible.
• Let them into your prayers, modeling how you pray, when you pray, and why you pray.
• Share when you’re struggling and how you turn to your faith to help you through those times.
• Discuss your decision-making process and how faith and prayer influence your big and small decisions.
