Leviticus 23 Is a awesome chapter on the various celebrations and feasts that Israel was to participate in as a Yahweh worshipping nation. They were to be together, in unity, focused on the different character qualities of God during these times. As we await a child to be born in the Biblical narrative, we get a idea of this special child through these feasts!

Leviticus 22 is more instructions to Aaron and his sons! Just as the "regular," person in the nation of Israel had issues, so the priest do to! It reminds us that no matter who you are on the planet, we need to be cleansed of our sin which is in us and that which shows itself in our behavior! We all need Saving and a Savior!

Leviticus 19 - Do not!

In this chapter there are many, "do not," statements. It is a review of the 10 commandments and so much more. When you see a strong statement in the New Testament regarding our behavior (Not a hint of sexual immorality etc...), you know can see where it comes from! God is Holy throughout the Bible. And the call to be Holy stands to all humans. Everybody seeks to be holy, but the question is to who's standard of holiness are we seeking to be like?
