Mountain Shadows Presbyterian Church volunteers prepared and served today's meal at Cross Streets at Southside Presbyterian Church. Menu included breakfast casserole with ham, eggs and green chiles, oatmeal, black bean and corn salad, green salad, French bread and coffee cake. At least 180 were served. Cross Streets supports the homeless and food challenged with various support services including meals on Monday and Friday mornings.

As a member church in the Covenant Network of Presbyterians, Mountain Shadows affirms and celebrates transgender people. God loves everybody.

On March 31, Transgender Day of Visibility celebrates people who may be transgender, nonbinary, gender-nonconforming, or otherwise gender-diverse.

CNP offers liturgical, educational and other resources that may be useful to church leaders, members and anyone seeking to support transgender and nonbinary siblings in Christ.

Palm/Passion Sunday at Mountain Shadows Presbyterian Church: lovely decorations; beautiful music (including the handbells) and a heartfelt service. There even was an induction ceremony for new members. It was a truly heartfelt, spirit filled morning!
