September always makes me feel like the year has started all over again.
I know there are still four months left, but something about September just feels like a new beginning. New school years, new routines, a change in the air and maybe a chance to hit the reset button a little.

But did you know that you can begin again, too?

'A new beginning doesn't require a perfect past. It doesn't matter how far you've wandered, how many times you've stumbled, or how long it's been since you felt close to God.

Today is another opportunity to turn toward Him.

Whatever this new season brings, remember this:

God's mercy is new.
God's grace is enough.
And your story isn't finished.
You don't have to have it all figured out. You don't have to clean everything up first. Just come as you are.

Begin again.

As our kids head back to school, we want to take a moment to cover them and everyone who helps make their school days possible in prayer...

We pray for our children...
For courage when they're nervous.
For kindness when someone needs a friend.
For wisdom when they have a choice to make.
For friendships that lift them up and bring out the best in them.
For protection on the bus, in the classroom, on the field, and everywhere in between.
And most of all, that they would always remember they are never walking alone.
And we pray for all those who care for and serve our children each day...
For teachers and educators who patiently teach, encourage, and love our kids.
For bus drivers who get them to school and home safely.
For school nurses who care for them when they're not feeling their best.
For secretaries and office staff who keep everything running and are often the first friendly face a child sees.
For custodians who work behind the scenes to keep our schools clean, safe, and ready each day.
And for every counselor, coach, aide, administrator, cafeteria worker, and staff member who pours into the lives of our children.
May God give each of you patience, strength, wisdom, and a little extra grace for the days that feel long.
And to our kids... whether you're excited, nervous, or somewhere in between... remember this:

God goes with you. Into every classroom, every hallway, every bus ride, every practice, and every new adventure! We're praying for you. We're cheering you on. And we're asking God to keep His hand over you all year long!

A New Season...A Fresh Start... Happy September !

A new school year brings new schedules, new classrooms, new teachers, new friendships, and new opportunities. But September isn't just a fresh start for our children. It's a fresh start for all of us!

Maybe this is the month you finally slow down.
Maybe it's the month you reconnect with God.
Maybe it's the month you step through the church doors again.
Maybe it's simply the month you remember that God is still doing something new in your life.

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” — Isaiah 43:19

Join us this Sunday for Rally Day; Children's Church resumes with Miss Jen and we have a special Blessing of the Backpacks with Pastor Isaac!

Step into the story of Christmas with our Live Nativity, featuring live animals, and enjoy our Holiday Vendor Fair with local vendors and holiday shopping.

Just like the waves, seasons come and go, but God's presence remains constant through it all. Thank you for being part of our church family. Your prayers, your presence, and the ways you serve and support one another are what make this community so special.

As we wave goodbye to August and step into September, we look forward to a new season and all that God has in store for our church family.
