Mid-Week Enrichment | I Didn’t Notice That! | It’s Not Working Against You

What if the thing you thought was stopping you… is actually God redirecting you?

We’re continuing our powerful new series “I Didn’t Notice That!” with a timely message from Pastor Tony Roberts entitled “It’s Not Working Against You.”

Tonight, Pastor Tony takes us into Acts 16:6-10, where Paul and his companions experienced something unexpected: they attempted to go into certain regions, but the Holy Spirit prevented them from going where they intended to go.

At first glance, it could have looked like a setback.

A closed door.

A delay.

A missed opportunity.

But it wasn't working against them.

God was redirecting them toward where He wanted them to be.

Sometimes we interpret God's “no” as rejection when it is actually redirection. We assume a closed door means we're failing, when God may be protecting us from the wrong destination and positioning us for the right one.

What feels like an interruption may actually be divine direction.

What feels like a delay may actually be divine alignment.

What feels like a setback may actually be God saying, “Not there. This way.”

In this powerful teaching, Pastor Tony Roberts will help you discover:

• How to recognize when God is redirecting you
• Why every closed door isn't a sign of failure
• The role of the Holy Spirit in guiding your decisions
• How to trust God when His direction doesn't make sense
• Why your plans may need to change to fulfill God's purpose
• How disappointment can become divine positioning
• The difference between opposition and divine redirection
• Why God sometimes prevents you from going somewhere you desperately want to go
• How to remain obedient when God's path looks different from your plan
• Why the destination God has for you may require a different route than you expected

Paul had a plan.

But God had a purpose.

And sometimes God's purpose requires Him to interrupt our plans.

You may be looking at something in your life right now and thinking:

“Why isn't this working?”

“Why did this door close?”

“Why didn't God let this happen?”

“Why am I being delayed?”

But tonight's message challenges you to ask a different question:

“What if God isn't working against me… What if He's redirecting me?”

Don't allow frustration to make you fight against the very direction God is trying to give you.

The closed door may be protection.

The delay may be preparation.

The detour may be divine.

And the place God is leading you may be greater than the place you were trying to reach on your own.

Sometimes you don't need God to change the situation. You need God to change your perspective about the situation.

At Victory Worship Center, we are transcending from hurting… to healing… to victorious living—and we believe that victory is available for you in every area of your life.

If you're currently facing a closed door, unexpected change, delayed opportunity, or unfamiliar direction, don't give up.

God may be leading you somewhere you didn't know you needed to go.

Come ready to trust His voice, follow His direction, and recognize that what looks like it's working against you may actually be working for your purpose.

Mid-Week Enrichment | I Didn't Notice That! | The Well Was Already There

NEW SERIES ALERT! What if God has already provided what you need—but you simply haven't noticed it yet?

Tonight, Pastor Tony Roberts launches our powerful new series, “I Didn't Notice That!”, with a message that will challenge you to look beyond your circumstances and become more aware of God's presence, provision, and purpose.

Tonight's class, “The Well Was Already There,” takes us into Genesis 21:14-19, where Hagar finds herself in the wilderness with her son Ishmael, facing what appears to be an impossible situation. She's exhausted, overwhelmed, and seemingly out of options. But in the middle of the wilderness, God speaks to her and opens her eyes to see a well of water that was already there.

The well didn't suddenly appear.

It was already there.

What changed was her ability to see it.

That powerful truth challenges us to examine our own lives. How many times have we become so focused on what is missing that we fail to recognize what God has already provided?

How many blessings have we overlooked because we were distracted by the problem?

How many opportunities have we missed because we were focused on the wilderness instead of the God who was with us in the wilderness?

Sometimes the greatest breakthrough isn't God creating something new.

Sometimes the breakthrough is God opening our eyes to what He has already placed in front of us.

In this powerful teaching, Pastor Tony Roberts will explore:
How difficult circumstances can affect our spiritual vision
Why being aware of God is essential in every season
How God provides even when we feel like we're running out of options
Why we shouldn't allow fear to determine what we believe is possible
The difference between God's absence and our inability to recognize His presence
How God can open our eyes to opportunities, resources, relationships, and solutions we previously overlooked
Why wilderness seasons don't mean God has forgotten you
How faith helps us see beyond what is immediately in front of us
The importance of recognizing God's provision before asking Him for something new
How becoming more aware of God can change the way we navigate everyday life

There may be a well already there in your wilderness.

There may be provision already there in your situation.

There may be help already there in the relationship you overlooked.

There may be an opportunity already there that you haven't recognized.

There may be strength already there that you didn't know you had.

And most importantly, God is already there.

This message will encourage you to stop allowing your circumstances to dictate your vision and start asking God to open your eyes.

Because sometimes the question isn't:

“God, where is my provision?”

The question may be:

“God, help me see what You have already provided.”

If you've ever felt stuck, forgotten, overwhelmed, disappointed, or uncertain about your next step, this message is for you.

Don't miss the well because you're focused on the wilderness.

At Victory Worship Center, we are transcending from hurting… to healing… to victorious living—and we believe that victory is available for you in every area of your life.

Come expecting God to shift your perspective, strengthen your faith, and help you recognize His hand at work in places you may have overlooked.

Mid-Week Enrichment | Relationship Series | It Takes Two

Nobody is meant to do life alone.

We’re continuing our powerful “Relationship” series with another timely and practical Mid-Week Enrichment from Pastor Tony Roberts entitled “It Takes Two.”

Tonight, Pastor Tony Roberts takes us into Ecclesiastes 4:10, reminding us of a simple but powerful truth: everyone needs help. God created us for relationship, community, partnership, and connection. There are seasons when we need to be strong for someone else—and there will be seasons when we need someone to be strong for us.

Ecclesiastes reminds us that when one person falls, the other can help them up. That means healthy relationships aren't simply about what we can receive; they're also about what we're willing to contribute.

In a culture that often celebrates independence, God reminds us that interdependence is not weakness—it is wisdom.

In this powerful teaching, Pastor Tony Roberts will help us explore:

• Why everyone needs help at some point in life
• The biblical importance of healthy relationships and community
• Why isolation can make difficult seasons even harder
• How to recognize when you need support
• The importance of being willing to help others
• Why pride can prevent us from receiving the help God sends
• How healthy relationships provide strength, encouragement, and accountability
• The difference between healthy support and unhealthy dependence
• Why God often uses people to help us accomplish His purpose
• How to become the kind of person others can depend on

Sometimes the blessing isn't found in doing everything yourself.

Sometimes the blessing is found in having the humility to say, “I need help.”

And sometimes God has positioned you in someone else's life because you are the help they've been praying for.

This message will challenge you to examine your relationships and ask:

Who can I trust?
Who can I help?
Am I allowing people to help me?
Am I building relationships that make me stronger in Christ?

Because relationships aren't just about companionship—they're about connection, support, accountability, growth, and purpose.

At Victory Worship Center, we are transcending from hurting… to healing… to victorious living—and we believe that victory is available for you in every area of your life.

Whether you're walking through a difficult season, building meaningful relationships, recovering from relational hurt, or simply learning how to become a better friend, spouse, family member, leader, or believer, this message is for you.

You don't have to do it alone. Sometimes, it takes two.
