It’s only Wednesday, and some of us are already carrying too much.

Something somebody said Monday is still bothering you.

You’re replaying a conversation. Trying to prove a point. Carrying an expectation that was never yours to begin with.

Ephesians 4:22–24 talks about putting off the old and putting on the new.

That made me think: maybe the midweek reset isn’t always about adding something. Maybe there’s something we need to put down.

What you keep looking at has a way of shaping you.

So here’s today’s question:

Are you spending more time watching who everyone else is becoming or believing who God says you are?

How much of what you believe about yourself came from watching everybody else?

Paul says we’re changed by what we keep beholding.

That makes me check what I’ve been giving my attention to, because everything we watch doesn’t deserve the power to shape us.

So let’s talk.
