We’re starting our Throwback Song Bracket today with 16 classics, including hymns, gospel choir favorites, old-school praise and worship, and Christian radio throwbacks.

Some of you got to rest today. Some of you had to work. Some of you spent the day taking care of everybody else.

Wherever Labor Day found you, we hope you had a moment to remember this: your worth is bigger than what you accomplish.

We’re grateful for the teachers, nurses, business owners, first responders, caregivers, tradespeople, parents, students, servers, leaders and so many others who make our communities better every day.

We hope you felt appreciated today. And if nobody told you, thank you for what you do.

Man, what a day.

There’s just something special about watching people take a step toward Jesus. Watching someone come out of that water with that kind of joy never gets old.

And that was just part of what happened today.

Across every campus, people worshiped together. New friends walked through our doors. People found community. Baptisms happened. God was moving in so many different lives and stories.

It’s a holiday weekend, and a lot of us probably could have been a lot of places. I’m just grateful we got to be together.

Every Sunday is special when we get the chance to worship a God this good.

Today was a really, really good day.

They taught us a whole lot. Now we’re teaching them the slang. 😂

Some of our Seasoned Saints took on Gen Z and Gen Alpha, and we’re not sure they’ll ever look at words like cooking or crash out the same way again.

And on September 13, we’re taking the WHOLE Sunday back.

Grandparents Day at Mountain West is a true throwback Sunday with a full choir, an old-school church feel, plenty of surprises, and a whole lot of love as we celebrate the generations who helped shape us.

Bring Grandma. Bring Granddad. Bring the kids. Bring the whole family.

There’s just something special about Sundays together.

Week 4 of You Got Mail brought us together again around Jesus, and we were honored to welcome Pastor Scott Smith as our guest pastor.

We worshiped.
We shared Communion.
We laughed, hugged, connected, and made room for community.

And through it all, we were reminded just how good it is to gather in the presence of God and with people who are becoming family.

Some Sundays are hard to put into words. You just had to be in the room.

We’re grateful for what God is doing in this season, grateful for every person who walked through the doors today, and full of hope for everything still ahead.

What a Sunday.

A few more moments from a night that meant so much to us.

We love Jesus. That’s not a slogan. It’s simply who we are, and we’re not ashamed of it.

Night of Worship gave us space to worship together, pray for one another, and show up for each other. That’s what being a church family means to us.
