Christ Redeemer exists to nurture the faith of our members through diligent study of the Bible and regular use of the Sacraments, leading us to share the Gospel message with others in our community and around the world. We are a Lutheran church that proclaims forgiveness for all through Jesus Christ. We are a Christian church that gathers to praise God, to be strengthened by his Word, and to reach

out to those around us in Christian love. There’s something for all ages at Christ Redeemer. Sunday school, youth group, and special events serve our young ones. Adults take part in Bible studies, choirs (voice and bell), and many opportunities to serve one another and the Lord. Sunday Worship Schedule:

(Summer) 11:00-11:30am Family Bible Time
(School year) 11:00-noon: Sunday School and Adult Bible Study

Our first ever tag sale is done!

We fought some wind and rain and moved everything indoors mid-sale, which was exciting. But those who came despite the weather left happy with some excellent items. And we can proudly say we were the only tag sale this weekend offering free popcorn and playing the Champions League final on TV! (That we know of…)

All together, $400 was raised for the Center for Family Justice and we had excellent conversations with the members of our community. Thank you, Lord!

Notice anything new about us? 😁

Last July we lost our church signage to a traffic accident on our often-busy road. It turned out to be just the nudge we needed to update our signs—however, police reports, insurance processing, and a hard winter made it difficult to replace them until almost a year later. Now, our new signs are here and they look amazing! Thank you, Sign Maintenance Service Co. in Bridgeport!

Pentecost Sunday—which is always a reason to celebrate—was an especially joyful occasion this year!

We celebrated our college and high school grads and sang special hymns thanks to our guest musician. (Thanks, Kelly! 😊)

May God bless all graduates this spring and give them hope for the future as they move into new phases of life—to them we say, “Let your light shine before others” (Matthew 5:16).

This Sunday Funday we talked all about light. Jesus is the light of the world, and he shines through us! We reflect his light to the world when we show love to others through our words and actions.
