CLEAN UP APRIL 2026

Thank you to everyone who participated in our recent cleanup day. Your hard work is greatly appreciated and the results are excellent. The windows have been washed, debris has been cleared, new flowers have been planted, and fresh mulch has been applied. The St. John’s property looks wonderful thanks to your efforts.

PALM SUNDAY 2026

Today, we had a very special Sunday, and we were blessed in many ways. Palm Sunday was especially crowded, with over one hundred people in attendance. We also enjoyed a successful Easter Egg hunt, and fun was had by everyone. It was truly wonderful to see everyone and to witness such a great turnout! Thanks be to God, and off for a good start for the Holy Week!

CHORAL DIVINE LITURGY AND PARISH RETREAT

One of the most fruitful ways to live the Great Fast is to attend a spiritual retreat. We will hold a retreat at St. John’s on the Feast of the Annunciation, March 25. The day will include a Choral Divine Liturgy with Fr. Al Forlano preaching, the opportunity for Lenten confessions, and a dinner to follow. Please join us for this special celebration!

PYSANKY CLASS

We are excited to offer a pysanky workshop as St Johns this year as a Lenten activity reflecting our Eastern Christian heritage. The workshop will be held on Saturday, March 21, from 10am to 2pm. The spots are limited due to space requirements for the workshop. For more details, see the flyer

GREAT FAST 2026

As Great Lent begins next week, we would like to invite you to join our parish family at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church for our upcoming Lenten services and events. It is a beautiful time for us to journey together in prayer, fasting, and repentance. It is a good opportunity to focus on our spiritual growth and draw closer to God as we prepare for the Resurrection.
