Everyone help, please! Send a letter or card of encouragement to Troy Regional Medical Center (TRMC). They are really doing their best in the midst of the tremendous challenges wrought by this Corona Virus Pandemic. An “Encouragement Wall” will be located at the hospital where all employees can read your words of encouragement, appreciation, and prayer. Let your salutation be “To: TRMC” or “To: Troy Regional Medical Center.”
Send it to: Amy Minor, 1330 US Highway 231, Troy, Alabama, 36081.
Please use a larger font such as 28. Share your message in a couple of paragraphs. Share this idea with as many people as possible. Your school students, Sunday school classes, clubs, businesses, individuals, pastors, and churches can undertake this as a positive project to participate in while we join together to face and overcome this pandemic. Children and adults can make homemade cards and be creative.
Thank you,
Rev Ed Shirley

It is estimated that 2,977 people died in the terrorists' attacks on September 11, 2001. Many first responders rushed to the scene and lost their lives trying to help others. Others eventually died from health complications from the burning jet fuel and other hazards at the Twin Towers. We remember the brave passengers and crew on the airliner that fought the terrorists to prevent them from hitting another target. We remember those at the Pentagon devastated by this horrendous act.

We especially pray for all fire fighters working to contain the wildfires in California. We pray for those who have lost their homes to fire. We pray for recovery efforts in Louisiana and Texas after Hurricane Laura.

Our prayers are for the family of Chaplain Mike Thomas. He was a volunteer chaplain with the Pike County Sheriff's Department, the brother of Sheriff Russell Thomas, and the Pastor of Joquin Baptist Church.
