And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
Romans 11:6

What makes a person good or bad? Is it what you do, your faith, or neither?
The Bible teaches us that a follower of Christ needs to surrender everything to grace. And thanks to the grace you receive, the desire to obey Jesus in everything needs to be the reason you do good things. God doesn’t see us as either good or bad, He just sees us as His own children. His love isn’t based on whether you deserve it, because none of us do. And even if you do the utmost to earn the salvation the Lord offers, you wouldn’t be able to.

The beautiful thing is that you don’t have to! That’s the point of God’s grace. It’s a gift, freely available to all. If we try to earn grace, we rob it of it’s power and invalidate the core of the gospel.
When you accept what He wants to give you and you get to know your heavenly Father, you’ll start to understand the magnitude of the life He offers you, it’ll change your life and the good works will follow. Not out of obligation, but out of devotion and as a way to give thanks.
So, surrender control in everything to the Lord. He promised Paul that His grace would be enough, and the same goes for you. You don’t need to be perfect to be a child of God. On the contrary, by showing your vulnerabilities and admitting your faults, the miraculous nature of His salvation is revealed all the more and He will get the glory He is due. But more importantly, your relationship with Him will deepen and your understanding of Him will grow. And so will your love for the One whose grace gave you a whole new life.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for Your grace. You know I can’t earn it on my own, and I don’t have to. Help me to surrender to You completely, so Your power will be made perfect in me and You’ll be glorified and receive all the honor. Amen.

God is good all the time. And all the time God is good.❤️❤️

It’s hard to keep ourselves encouraged, but it’s easy to keep others encouraged. Why? Because maybe all our lives we were put down by others. Maybe an event took place that made you feel insignificant. Maybe you were overlooked at some point. Unworthiness crept in and made a bed in your life. Unappreciated comforted you. Bitterness rooted in your heart. Anger branched out. And hatred grew.

David went through the exact same things. But it did not stop the plan of God for his life. He could have let the voice of others stop him and put him down. What did he do instead? He encouraged himself in the Lord his God.

One of the many things many believers lack is encouragement. We are quick to count ourselves when God has counted us in. Just as David. Strengthen yourself in the things of God. Don’t go another day without it. Build yourself up. Stir up the gift of encouragement in your life.

Often times we put God in a box. When we do, we limit what God can do in our own life. It’s easy to believe God can do it for someone else, but when it comes to us, can we still believe?
It may seem impossible with our carnal eyes, but God doesn’t ask us to see with our carnal eyes. He wants us to see with our spiritual eyes and for our faith to be unwavering.

Who Am I?

Moses had an identity crisis from the moment of his birth.
He knew he didn't belong with the Egyptians, but also felt like an outsider among his own people.
When God spoke to Moses through the burning bush to lead His people out of Israel, Moses again questioned his identity.
God promised Moses that He would certainly be with him.
Moses had to realize that his identity was not based on his bloodline or who bought him up, but in the One who called him by name!

"Speak less, pray more, and I'll move." – A gentle reminder that God's plans are perfect, even when we can't see them. 🙏❤️

When Mary poured out a year’s worth of wages on Jesus, she wasn’t just making a statement about the value of oil; she was revealing the value she placed on Christ. In a town where serving the poor was important, her sacrifice was even more profound. What would it look like for us to give God our best, even if it costs us everything?
