Saturday night update from Courtney:
An update on Baby Keller,
Keller is on quite a number of seizure medicines and we can’t get them to stop. He has an incredible team of doctors & nurses who are working so hard to stop them. We pray and pray for these seizures to stop! The doctors are working on so many possible leads that may be causing them and I pray that we are getting close to finding out. They are preventatively treating for a number of possibilities, so I pray the seizures stop very soon since new medicines and antibiotics (for certain possibilities) have been added today. 🙏🏼
His lungs are no longer an issue, his pulmonary hypertension does not appear to be an issue anymore, and there was a kidney concern (we had not really discussed with anyone) that is no longer an issue or concern. These are all amazing praises!
He is on an extensive EEG machine that has been running for almost 2 days. They are monitoring that screen and the camera on him 24/7 and making changes to medicine and regime very quickly when seizures are detected.
He is still on nitric gas machine that he needs to be weaned from in order for them to do an MRI. One specific prayer would be for him to be able to come off of nitric gas machine!
Another BIG prayer request is for his heart. When viewing the chest x-ray, it showed his heart enlarged in comparison to yesterday’s x-ray. They have completed an echocardiogram and we are anxiously awaiting those results! I don’t typically share the things that haven’t been confirmed, but we ask the Lord to work in Keller’s body and there be absolutely no issues there! We are praying for good results and no issues on this echocardiogram.
We know the Lord hears our prayers and is working in Keller’s body! He’s the most precious, chunky baby and we can’t wait until we get to hold him! 🤍🩵🙏🏼 THANK YOU for all of your prayers, calls, texts, messages, and love sent our way! We can’t begin to explain how appreciative we are for every one of you.
**We will have a special time of prayer at the end of the 11 o’clock service tomorrow morning. If you aren’t with us in person please continue to lift Baby Keller, his family and the medical team up as well.**
