Secularism Will Be Crushed
There is a future administration, a coming fullness—the fullness of the times when Christ will have come.
Now he sits on the throne, central and exalted, and one day you will see him clearly as the sum of all things.
Ephesians 1:10 looks forward to this grand and glorious time when the Father finally sends his Son to bring all things under his rule.
This subjection will not be merely positional but fully realized and practically evident in every way under Christ.
His enemies will be put under his feet, displaying the completeness of his victory.
Even death itself awaits its final end, to be thrown into the lake of fire at the conclusion of that kingdom.
This is the climactic fullness toward which all of history is moving.
In that day, Christ’s centrality and supremacy will be unmistakably revealed to all.
