Troy Lutheran Vacation Bible School started today. This year, we're focusing on "Helping Hands, Healing Hearts" as the children rotate through the four centers: Service Learning, Music, Story Telling, and Art. Even our snack time has a few lessons thrown in. So tell your neighbors, family, and friends to invite their kids. It's happening all this week, August 10 through 14, from 8:30 to 11:30 am. Some of the local women gathered to do some traditional food preparation and cooking. The sense of community here is such a blessing to experience.

The kids at Strobelt Primary School treated us to some traditional dancing. The rattles at the bottom of their legs are made from dried mango seeds. I absolutely love the drumming that accompanies the dancing. ~Pr. Pat
