In Memory of Leonardo Ljuljduraj ✝️
8 December 1979 - 5 October 2023

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear friend, educator, organist, and proud member of our St. Lucy parish, Leonardo Ljuljduraj. Leonardo entered eternal life on October 5, 2023 at the age of 43.

Beloved son of Vaselj Ljuljduraj and Marija Ljuljduraj. Cherished brother of Leonora (Nosh) Agraja. Adored uncle of Luca, Leona and Lociano. Leonardo devoted his entire adult life to serving Jesus and the Roman Catholic Church as a priest. Leonardo was called to serve from early childhood and was dedicated to learning 5 languages, playing the organ and sharing his Godly gifts with his friends and family. Leonardo was an amazing blessing for all who had the joy in meeting him. He will be greatly missed by the many family and friends he leaves behind.

In Memory of Ratko Kalmeta ✝️
8 November 1944 - 24 January 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear friend, parishioner and proud member of our Croatian community, Ratko Kalmeta.

Beloved husband of Mirela; Loving father of Tom (Juliet), Ana (Vladimir) and Linda; Loving Grandfather of Mateus, Marcus, Miro, & Mila.

Ratko was a loving family man, always encouraging, teaching and playing with his kids. He was a loyal and trusted dear friend to many, always ready to lend a hand and help others in need. He was intelligent and skillful at everything he did, truly a master of many trades. Good-natured, energetic, wise and hardworking, Ratko always had a smile on his face and the willingness to help a friend. He loved his homeland of Croatia, especially his birth town Zadar, and always promoted his Croatian heritage.

He was a pillar of strength and positivity both within his family and in his community and he will be missed by family and friends both in the Detroit area and in Croatia. His memory will always live on in us, in the lessons he taught us of what it means to live a happy life based on good values, discipline, kindness, resilience and love. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers and the gifts he gave us will live on in our hearts.
