God’s Word is not lifeless ink on a page—it is living, active, powerful, and personal.

It reaches beyond appearances and penetrates the deepest places within us. It reveals our thoughts, examines our motives, confronts what is hidden, and lovingly cuts away everything keeping us from becoming who God created us to be.

Like a surgeon’s scalpel, the Word may cut—but it cuts to heal, restore, and make us whole.

Don’t just read the Word today. Let the Word read you.
Let it challenge you.
Let it change you.
Let it bring life to you.

“For the word of God is living and active and full of power… It is sharper than any two-edged sword…”
—Hebrews 4:12 AMP

🔥 God’s Word is alive—and it still has the power to transform your life!

Considering investing in your marriage this October.

Between kids, demanding careers, and endless to-do lists, it’s remarkably easy for a marriage to drift from soulmates to roommates.

When 90% of your daily communication is purely logistical—
"Did you pay the bill?"
"Who’s picking up dinner?"
—emotional intimacy quietly fades.

Before you know it, the relationship feels uninspired, distant, and transactional.
Managing a home together is necessary. But managing a life isn't the same as building a connection.

When you stop asking questions that invite heart-to-heart responses, you trade emotional closeness for operational efficiency.

Today's 10-Minute Wisdom Reset:
Try the "No Logistics Rule" for the first 10 minutes after you reconnect today.

✅Pause the schedule talk:
Put off questions about chores, schedules, or kids.

✅Ask connection-first questions:
"What was the best part of your day?"
"What’s something heavy you're holding onto right now that I can pray for or help with?"
"How can I support your spirit today?"

A strong marriage isn't built in the absence of busyness; it’s built in the intentional choices you make right in the middle of it.

Reflection Question for the Comments: What is your favorite question to ask your spouse to get past the "logistics" and connect on a deeper level? Drop it below!👇

IF I AM LIFTED UP… HE WILL DRAW ALL PEOPLE TO HIMSELF!

What do you do when your soul is troubled, the situation is difficult, and the purpose God has given you requires you to keep moving forward?

Jesus gives us the answer in John 12:27–33.

Even in His troubled moment, Jesus chose purpose over fear. He prayed, trusted the Father, and embraced the cross—knowing that His suffering would lead to victory and that His being lifted up would draw people to Himself.

And here’s the good news for us:

Your current situation is not the end of your story.
Your trouble does not cancel your purpose.
Your cross can become the place where God gets the glory.

Jesus was lifted up so that we could be lifted from sin, shame, bo***ge, and hopelessness into newness of life.

So today, lift up Jesus!
Lift Him up in your worship.
Lift Him up in your testimony.
Lift Him up in your home.
Lift Him up in your circumstances.

Because when Jesus is lifted, lives are changed.

Ready to meet Jesus?

In John 12:20-26, some Greeks approached the disciples with a simple request: "Sir, we wish to see Jesus." Their search became a powerful reminder that people are still searching today. Some are searching for hope, others for healing, peace, purpose, or a fresh start.

Jesus responded by pointing beyond the crowd and toward the cross. Like a grain of wheat that must be planted to produce fruit, He revealed that true life comes through sacrifice, surrender, and faithful service.

The challenge from Sunday's message was simple:

* When people seek answers, do they see Jesus in us?

* Are we helping people find the Savior or simply introducing them to religion?

* Are we choosing comfort, or are we choosing to follow Christ wherever He leads?

Jesus broke down every wall that separated people from God and invited everyone into His family through His sacrifice.

Someone is searching today. Be the person who points them to Jesus.

"If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also." — John 12:26

There is POWER in prayer!

Intercessory prayer is more than praying for ourselves—it is choosing to stand in the gap for someone else. For our families. For our church. For our community. For our leaders. For those who are hurting. For those who need healing, direction, restoration, salvation, and hope.

At Restored Life Church, we believe God hears, God answers, and God moves!

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.”
— Colossians 4:2

WE PRAY for our church, our community, and the world. WE BELIEVE that nothing is impossible with God. WE STAND together in faith, hope, and love.

Someone needs you to stand in the gap today.

Who are you praying for? Drop their first name, initials, or simply say “I’m standing in the gap” in the comments. Let’s cover one another in prayer!

JOIN US IN PRAYER.
Your prayers make a difference.

DON’T JUST ASK, “WHAT CAN GOD DO FOR ME?” ASK, “GOD, HOW CAN I HELP?”

This Sunday’s message, “How Can I Help?”, challenged us to move from simply receiving from God to becoming willing participants in what God is doing!

God has blessed us, restored us, strengthened us, and given us gifts—not just for ourselves, but so we can make a difference in the lives of others.

You don’t need a title.
You don’t need a platform.
You just need a willing heart.

See the need - Meet It
Lend a hand - Love people
Take action - Serve God

Someone around you may be waiting on the very thing God placed inside of YOU.

So this week, make this your prayer:
“God, show me where I’m needed. Show me who I can encourage. Show me where I can serve. HOW CAN I HELP?”
Don’t just come to church—BE the Church!

Sunday's Message: What's that fragrance? Lavish Gift
Scripture Text: John 12:1–8 and 2 Corinthians 2:14–16

Six days before the Passover, Mary poured out an expensive perfume and an even more costly act of worship at Jesus' feet. While others questioned the value of her sacrifice, Jesus declared that what she had done was beautiful and meaningful. The fragrance filled the entire house.

Paul later reminds us that those who belong to Christ are the "aroma of Christ" wherever they go. Just as Mary's worship filled the room with fragrance, our lives are meant to spread the fragrance of Christ to a world that desperately needs Him. Some will receive that fragrance as the scent of life and hope, while others will reject it—but our calling remains the same: faithfully reflect Jesus.

True worship doesn't stay in the room—it leaves a fragrance that points others to Christ wherever you go!

Missed Sunday's message or want to hear it again? Be sure to check out the full sermon on our YouTube channel and discover how your life can become a fragrance that honors Christ and impacts everyone all around you. Watch it, share it with a friend, and be encouraged by God's Word!

Every day, we make choices. Some are small, while others shape the direction of our lives and our eternity.

NOTE: "Our future is shaped one choice at a time." Minister Steven Roberts

As Joshua gathered the people of Israel for one final message, he reminded them of God's faithfulness—from Abraham's calling to their deliverance from Egypt, their victories in the wilderness, and the Promised Land they now enjoyed. Then he challenged them with a question that still echoes today:

"Choose this day whom you will serve..." (Joshua 24:15)

God had already proven Himself faithful. The decision now rested with the people. Would they continue following the Lord, or would they turn to the false gods that had tempted previous generations?
The same choice confronts us today. We cannot remain neutral forever. Every decision either draws us closer to Christ or further away from Him.

Joshua's declaration remains a powerful model for every believer:

"But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."

Join us as we explore "Choices" with Minister Steven Roberts from Joshua 24 and discover how a single decision to follow God can impact your family, your future, and your legacy.

07/20/2026

Sometimes the biggest miracle begins with the smallest act of obedience.

When Jesus stood before Lazarus' tomb, He didn't remove the stone Himself. He told the people standing nearby, "Remove the stone." (John 11:39)

Before they could witness resurrection, they had to move what was standing in the way.

What stone is blocking your faith today?
• Fear?
• Doubt?
• Unforgiveness?
• Disappointment?
• A situation you've already declared "dead"?

Jesus sees life where we often see only the end. While Martha saw a sealed tomb and the stench of death, Jesus saw an opportunity for the glory of God.

LESSON: Don't bury or cancel your prayers prematurely. God's delay is not God's denial. His timing is always perfect, and His plans are always greater than what we can see.

Today, hear His voice:
"Remove the stone."
Then listen for His next command:
"Come forth!"

The same Savior who called Lazarus from the grave is still calling people out of spiritual death, brokenness, addiction, despair, and hopelessness today. Stones are removed, grave clothes loosed, and newness of life experienced.

Believe, and you will see the glory of God. (John 11:40)

📖 "Jesus said to them, 'Remove the stone.' ... Then He cried with a loud voice, 'Lazarus, come forth!' ... 'Unbind him, and let him go.'" — John 11:39, 43-44
