Macedonia Methodist Church - Eldorado, NC Macedonia Methodist Church is located in the small community of Eldorado, NC - surrounded by the Uwharrie National Forest.

We invite vistors to come, just as you are, and worship with us each Sunday at 11am.

Tonight was our 1st charge youth group meeting. The group name is Ascent Aquatic and Outdoor Adventures. We had 11 children and 12 adults. We had a short message, music ( we have a talented group of kids ) visited Riverbend Retreat Center and pizza and cupcakes.
We will be meeting every Sunday at 6 pm. Please let any youth ( all ages ) know about our meetings. Everyone is welcome to come.

We will be having our food distribution this Saturday from 10 to 12 or until we run out of boxes. 1st come 1st served.

We will be having a 5th Sunday service at Macedonia @11 am followed by covered dish lunch. Meat will be provided , BBQ and Ham. Please come and join our 3 churches for a morning of worship and fellowship.

As a note this month marks our 3rd year. We thank God for all the blessings he has bestowed on us.

Our 3 churches have been working on some new Outreach missions. We will be starting a music ministry. Once a week we will send 2 Christian songs (all different genres) via text. If you would like to receive the songs please contact Donna Hurley.

We will have a Circle Thanksgiving Worship Service at Palestine Community Church this Sunday at 6:00 pm. The address is 36414 Palestine Road Albemarle, NC 28001. Fred will be preaching.

A pastor asked an older farmer, decked out in bib overalls, to say grace for the morning breakfast.
"Lord, I hate buttermilk", the farmer began. The visiting pastor opened one eye to glance at the farmer and wonder where this was going.
The farmer loudly proclaimed, "Lord, I hate lard." Now the pastor was growing concerned.
Without missing a beat, the farmer continued, "And Lord, you know I don't much care for raw white flour". The pastor once again opened an eye to glance around the room and saw that he wasn't the only one to feel uncomfortable.
Then the farmer added, "But Lord, when you mix them all together and bake them, I do love warm fresh biscuits. So Lord, when things come up that we don't like, when life gets hard, when we don't understand what you're saying to us, help us to just relax and wait until you are done mixing. It will probably be even better than biscuits. Amen."
