Today we’re celebrating Andy Doll and his 6-year work anniversary at Troy First!

Andy’s impact goes far beyond the songs we sing on Sunday mornings. He invests in our worship team, helps create meaningful moments for our church, and continually reminds us that worship is about so much more than music—it’s about giving God the glory He deserves.

Congratulations to Mike Swofford, our Facility Manager, on his THREE YEAR work anniversary at Troy First! 🎉

Over the past three years, Mike has done so much more than simply maintain our facilities—he has continually worked to improve them. From tackling projects and solving problems to finding ways to make our spaces better, Mike’s hard work can be seen all across our campus.

Before there are walls, there is the Church.

On Commitment Sunday, we stood together on the outline of what will one day be the Troy First Life Center.

There was no building around us. No finished rooms. No doors to walk through. Just lines on the ground and the people of Troy First standing inside them.

And maybe that was the most beautiful picture of all.

Because the Church has never been a building. We are the Church.

We stood in places that, right now, are only lines in the grass, but one day will hold stories we haven’t even begun to hear. Stories of people meeting Jesus. Of kids growing up knowing Him. Of friendships formed, lives changed, prayers answered, and disciples made.

And right there, in the middle of a story God is still writing, our pastors opened His Word and we prayed over what is to come. Then our church family stepped forward and made their commitments, not knowing every story that will someday fill that space, but believing God is already at work.

Someday, Lord willing, walls will stand where we stood Sunday. But before a single wall goes up, God is already building something here.

He is building His Church.
