Bible in a Year Week 21
This week we journeyed through Joshua 19-24, Judges 1-4, Acts 17-21, and Psalms 106-110. We also reached an exciting milestone—we completed our 11th book of the Bible this week! What a blessing to continue growing together in God's Word.
In Joshua, we saw the Israelites receive their remaining land inheritances and heard Joshua's final words of encouragement. As he prepared to leave them, Joshua reminded the people of God's faithfulness and challenged them to remain devoted to the Lord. He boldly declared, "But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord" (Joshua 24:15), setting an example of faithful leadership and commitment to God.

As we entered Judges, we witnessed what happens when God's people fail to fully follow His commands. Yet even in their struggles, God raised up leaders like Deborah and Barak to deliver His people, showing His mercy and faithfulness despite their shortcomings. I have added a visual showing all the judges and the years they reigned for context as we continue reading.

In Acts, Paul continued his missionary journeys, boldly sharing the Gospel in cities across the Roman world. Whether speaking to philosophers in Athens, encouraging believers, or facing opposition and arrest, Paul remained steadfast in his mission to proclaim Christ. His example challenges us to share our faith with courage wherever God places us. I have attached two maps, one of Paul's Missionary Journeys and one of his journey to Rome.

The Psalms this week reminded us of God's enduring love, mighty power, and righteous reign. Psalm 106 recounts God's faithfulness despite Israel's repeated failures, while Psalms 107-110 celebrate His steadfast love, deliverance, and kingship. Through every generation, God remains worthy of our praise and trust.
As we continue our Bible journey, may we remember God's faithfulness in the past, trust Him in the present, and boldly follow Him into the future.
