IT IS SHAMEFUL FOR CHRISTIANS IN GHANA!
National Cathedral is a good cause and brings glory to God and the country but what do we see, the so called Christians are the once that fights against. Moslems have shown their love and support by donating some amount of money yet those who says they are Christian are the once speaking and are fighting against this project from day one, isn't shameful to see Christians fighting against this project, if indeed they are Christians and have notice something wrong about it they will not speak and condemn it but rather work together to make sure it is done perfectly. No wonder he calls Pastors hypocrites. Jesus said a Kingdom that fight against itself cannot stand (Matthew 12:22-28). How can you say you are Christian and mock a Christian project that needs push and support, shame to all those who did that, those with God on their heart will not give this people an opportunity to lead them. Chapter 13 focused on Paul and his colleagues spreading the gospel and establishing churches throughout the Roman world from the church in Antioch. Antioch was the capital of the province of Syria and the third largest city within the Empire, being surpassed only by Rome and Alexandria. It was a cosmopolitan and commercial centre. The sending out of Paul and Barnabas by the church in Antioch under the direction of the Holy Spirit establishes the fact that the main business of the church is to promote God’s Kingdom among the nations by sending out workers called by God to preach the gospel. LESSON TEXT: - Romans 7:21-24; 8:1-17

INTRODUCTION
The eighth chapter of Romans is filled with at least eighteen references to the Holy Spirit. No other chapter in Paul's epistles has come close to this number. (1 Corinthians 12, for instance, which focuses on the gifts of the Spirit has only eleven such references). The reason for this should be apparent: the theme of Romans 8 is life in the Spirit. This life is not possible without the Holy Spirit's control over our lives. He has great work to do in all of our lives, and He is never satisfied with a work half accomplished. Romans chapter 8 exhorts us to yield control of our lives to the Spirit. Then we will find the freedom we desire.

SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON 4, BOOK 24

TOPIC: GROWING IN COMMITMENT

CENTRAL TRUTH: Personal commitment to Christ is essential for effective service.

2. Show in at least two ways he/she would demonstrate commitment to Christ.

When Jesus appeared to John on Patmos and gave him messages to share with seven principal churches in Asia, He directed a powerful warning to the church in Laodicea. "Because you are lukewarm - neither hot nor cold - I am about to spit you out of my mouth (Revelation 3:16). "Lukewarm" speaks of a lack of fervour, and commitment to the faith that is half-hearted at best. What a trap the Laodiceans had fallen into. Christ's commendations and warnings to these early churches are intended to shape our lives today. To help us avoid the lukewarm commitment of the Laodicean believers, we will study three direct scriptural guidelines found in Paul's epistle to the Philippians.
