As I sit here and reminisce over yesterday and the wonderful Thanksgiving we enjoyed, I can't help but think about those of years past.
Many who have been big parts of our lives aren't around. Some have left this earth for their heavenly home while others have just grown apart.
I want to thank our Lord for the mercies and blessings and all those who have been such a big part of my life. Chances are someone reading this may not be here in a year or two. I am constantly reminded of those that were enjoying Thanksgiving here on Earth last year aren't this year. You never know when it's your time so make sure you're ready. Jesus Christ died on the Cross of Calvary for all of us. He rose on the third day to prepare a place for all born again believers. It will be awesome to meet Jesus and our loved ones in heaven someday. I pray everyone who reads this knows where they are spending eternity. If you're not sure I'd love to tell you how you can be saved. I have many brothers and sisters in Christ that will share with you too. You don't have to wonder about it at all. When the Holy Spirit lives in you there's no doubt.
God Blees you all and find your way to a Bible Preaching and Teaching Church this Sunday.

Join us at Command Baptist Church for a special First Responder Sunday as we honor the brave men and women who serve our community with courage and sacrifice.

📅 Date: Sunday, September 28th
🕘 Time: 10:30am
📍 Location: Command Baptist Church, 658 Island Ford Rd., Statesville.

This will be a day of gratitude, prayer, and recognition for our local police officers, military, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and all first responders. We want to thank you and your families for the selfless service you give every day.

Psalm 37
23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.

When you're going through trials and tribulations, always remember our Lord is right beside you holding you up.
Life will not always be easy but God will always get you through it.
Sometimes we get in the way of the steps our Lord is directing us to take.
Brothers and Sisters, be Good and take that next step. He is holding us up.
