📖 In Book of Ezra, Ezra called the people to fast and humble themselves before God because they knew they couldn’t rely on their own strength for the journey ahead. They needed God’s direction, protection, and provision.

That’s what fasting does. It strips away distractions and reminds us that our dependence has always been on 𝗛𝗶𝗺. Not our plans. Not our abilities. 𝗛𝗶𝗺.

🎤 May we not just give something up externally, but allow God to transform something internally.
