Gilbert Weber, 90, passed away on July 4th. Gil graduated from Tripp High School in 1954, and he was a former member of First American. We pray the Lord would bring comfort and peace to his family and friends.

This picture was sent to me by someone from Hartford, SD, showing First American in 1912. There are about 75 men in the picture, my best guess is it was a Iowa Synod district pastor's meeting - and the Hartford pastor received a copy. I believe First American's pastor, August Hein, is the second one from the right.

Prayers of comfort and peace for the family and friends of Elvera Friederich. Elvera entered into her eternal rest at the Menno-Olivet Care Center in Menno, SD, on Friday, February 27th, at the age of 90. Her funeral service will be held at First American Lutheran in Tripp on Wednesday, March 4th. Visitation will be from 1pm – 2pm with the funeral service beginning at 2pm. We entrust Elvera to God’s grace and glory. May God grant comfort to all who mourn her death.
