For several years people in this community had been interested in having a church established. In the fall of 1924 a brush arbor was built in which to have a revival. Much enthusiasm was shown, and on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1924, Trinity Baptist Church was organized with 24 charter members, in the home of Ernest Bowman. To emphasize its missionary nature and its cooperative spirit an offer

ing of $24 was given that day for the Thomasville Baptist Orphanage, now known as "Mills Home." On December 14, 1924, at a called conference, Rev. Barnes, the first pastor, gave plans for the building and also for organizing a Sunday School. Meetings continued in the Bowman home until the sanctuary was built. The Sunday School was organized on the last Sunday the last Sunday of May, 1925. The church building was dedicated on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1927. A new addition to the building was added in 1954. An Educational Building was completed in 1967, and a new sanctuary was dedicated on May 17, 1979.

Trinity Baptist Church in Trinity, NC will be hosting revival services Sunday, Oct. 21st - Wednesday, Oct. 24th.

Rev. Chris Byrne (Sr. Pastor at New Friendship Baptist Church in Winston Salem) will be preaching and there will be special singing each evening:

Last night Trinity Baptist Church hosted the annual Baccalaureate Service for the graduating seniors of Trinity High School. The service was opened with a welcoming by our Pastor, the Rev. Morris Little. Hosting the service was our Youth Pastor, Mr. Phillip Ball. His message to seniors challenged them to find purpose in life and to live for Christ. He focused on this graduation being a real start to a new phase in their lives, to take up the challenge to achieve their goals and dreams.

The service also included special music from the senior class, members Zachary Freeman, Brian Rowland, Katie Ortega and Oscar Zepeda. And soloist Kayla McClure.

Special scripture reading from senior class members Caitlin Swiggett and Jackson Barnes.

A special social gathering was hosted by TBC following the service. Our church Hospitality Committee hosted the social, offering a special punch and "finger foods".
