Our bushes need some time to ripen the next wave of berries. We will be OPEN for picking this weekend in a limited window:

Today we remember those who gave everything for our freedom here in America.

Memorial Day isn't just the start of summer, it's a time of gratitude. Steve, one of our co-owners is a veteran, both our owner’s fathers are veterans from WWII and Vietnam, and one of their son’s is a Navy veteran. We carry that sense of service and respect into everything we do!

We honor those who died in service and extend a hand of grace to family members who lost their service member ❤️

Enjoy this day with your loved ones, and if you're joining us to pick berries, we'd love to share a peaceful moment on the farm with you.

Opening Day is tomorrow!

If you plan to come and pick this weekend please note:
🚨 Our bushes are still early season, with many berries still green. There are definitely blueberries ready to pick, but majority are still ripening. You will have to slow down and hunt for the ones that are ready! 🔎🫐

By mid-June, the bushes should be bursting with ripe blueberries 😋

Open for limited picking THIS WEEKEND:
Saturday 23rd: 7:30a-12:00p
Sunday 24th: closed
Monday 25th 🇺🇸: 7:30a-12:00p

🌸🐝🫐 Buzz Pollination Time

Pollinators are hard at work at Trinity Acres. We’ve got blueberry buds growing amongst the rows, ready for the leaves to develop. It is loud over here as the bees and butterflies work to make sure these berries grow!

🚨FUN FACT⚠️
Blueberries are most effectively pollinated by Buzz Pollinators (like the bumble bees in these photos)!

Honey bees may get all the attention, but bumble bees are the best pollinators for blueberry flowers. Blueberry flowers are bell-shaped, and the pollen is most efficiently dispensed through a process called buzz pollination (which honey bees cannot do). Buzz pollination (or, more formally, sonication) is basically when the bee vibrates its wing muscles to release a dusting of pollen from the flower onto the bee! It makes a loud buzzing sound, hence the name.
When native bees pollinate blueberry flowers, the blueberry bushes are more likely to yield abundant and larger blueberries! A huge thank you to our native bees 💛
