“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:32
It is unfortunate, in today’s world, that one needs to be reminded to be kind. Often, we become quite self-centered, concerned only with ourselves, annoyed with anyone or anything that prevents our day from going smoothly. If we look beyond ourselves, we will see others facing the same struggles, hardships, and frustrations. Think of a time someone showed you an unexpected kindness. Perhaps a stranger lent a hand, and was gone before you had a chance to thank them. Even the smallest act of kindness can leave a big impression. If we can remind ourselves of the greatest act of love, and forgive others, as God in Christ forgave us, there is not a soul on this earth who is not deserving of our kindness. Jesus died for all.
Please join us for Worship- The Service of the Word – Wednesdays at 4:15. Our Food & Clothing Distribution follows from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M. All are welcome to attend.
We give thanks to the Lord for all who made this week’s food distribution possible. Special thanks to our Food Ministry Family of volunteers! Kindness is second nature to these fine individuals. Not only on Wednesdays, but throughout the week, helping those in need in our community.
