As we celebrate 20 years of God’s abundant blessings, we would like to share with you our beliefs and goals.

Beliefs: • We believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, through Whom we have forgiveness of sins and eternal life. • By grace through faith we have been incorporated into Christ’s body – the church – to proclaim the good news of the Gospel and to be the hands and feet of our Lord in creation. • We believe that God created all things through the Word, and that out of His love He provides for all of creation, whether one is a “believer” or not. Goals: • As Christ’s disciples, we proclaim the good news of salvation which comes only by grace through faith in Christ alone. • Out of love for Christ and each other, we may witness to our faith in both words and actions. We can forge connections/relationships with others by taking care of both their spiritual and temporal needs. • We can provide a “safe place” for the needy; they may come to us and feel welcomed and with no “stigma”. Their mere presence is their unspoken declaration that they desire/need assistance. We require no proof of income, citizenry, etc…Our desire is only to be of service and benefit. • We desire to supply each family who comes for food with two days’ worth of groceries; we also desire to have ample supply of free, gently-worn clothes and other accessories as needed. • We want each person to feel like an individual who is cared for and appreciated. • Our goal is to positively impact the community around us, and grow in the services we can provide in order to elevate the quality of life for individuals so as to take care of immediate needs and guide/support them as they make a better life for themselves and their families.

Giving thanks to the Lord for His tremendous blessing today of an incredibly generous donation of Lidl Grocery Gift Cards from Living Savior Lutheran Church. Thank you, Betty, for always thinking of us. It is now possible for monetary donations from Living Savior to be converted to Lidl Gift Cards. These will be used to purchase non-perishables and any other items in short supply. In the past, these were all purchased out of pocket. From God’s hand to our table, once again we are truly blessed.

Our food & clothing Distribution follows from 5:00 -5:45 P.M. All are welcome to attend.

Schools are back in session in our area. Once again, God has blessed us richly with generous donations of backpacks and school supplies. Each backpack is filled with pencils, paper, folders, spiral notebooks, and many other essential items indicated on classroom supply lists. Every child should start the new school year with all supplies on hand and at the ready. Backpacks are available during this evening’s Food Distribution. Prayers for a safe and happy new school year for educators, administrators, students, bus drivers, and all staff.

We give thanks to the Lord for all who donated school supplies this year. Many donate every school year! Their generosity will not be forgotten; the smiles on the faces of our littlest friends are truly priceless. God will provide, indeed! We welcome donations of school supplies throughout the school year! Thank you.

The Bible views children as a precious gift and heritage from God, commanding adults to love, protect, and guide them with patience. Key verses on this topic focus on viewing children as a blessing, teaching them wisely, and treating them with gentle compassion.
Little Ones are welcome at the Ark! They know there may be a toy or two, or even a bicycle! They also know there are always goodie bags at the ready, the best treats for lunch boxes and after-school snacks.Speaking of school, supplies and backpacks generously donated this year will ensure a bright and happy start to the new school year. Not-so-little children, too, enjoy coming to the Ark! Some of the older children have become wonderful volunteers! God is good! They remember coming here when they were little and now want to return the kindness they were shown.

Thank you, Savior for continuing to bless us via LIDL gift cards. These are used to purchase food when donated items are in short supply. We give thanks to the Lord for your generous gifts and continued support.
