Walk for Peace! 🕊️

What an honor it was to witness history this past weekend. Members from City of Faith were able to experience the Walk for Peace as they passed by our church and neighborhoods.

As we live through some of the hardest times, we are reminded of God’s word in John 16:33 that reads, “I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (NIV)

Our 10 day fast begins tomorrow! Bishop Sam Metcalfe shared nuggets of wisdom to help us prepare for the fast. Remember these few things:

1. Prayer & fasting creates a spiritual space.
2. Prayer & fasting gives us clarity.
3. Prayer & fasting brings self control.
4. Prayer & fasting helps us operate in spiritual awareness.

Prayer CONNECTS us to God.
Fasting DISCONNECTS us from distractions.

Our focus scripture is Proverbs 3:13-15.

City of Faith is focusing this year on “Walking in Wisdom.” We believe that this fast will not only strengthen our faith but help us seek God’s wisdom daily!

City of Faith had a wonderul time with Agape Fellowship Ministries for the Thanksgiving Service yesterday. Matter of fact, we had so much fun that we’re back with another combined ministry service.

Join us THIS Sunday, November 30 at 10 a.m. as we come together to praise and worship the Lord. Bishop Sam Metcalfe will be pouring into God’s people yet again.
