BE AWARE OF THE DIVINITY SPIRIT IN THE CHURCH/MINISTRIES
God says in His word that there will be false Christ’s and false prophets and THEY WILL perform GREAT SIGNS AND WONDERS/MIRACLES. This is the same spirit a witch, warlock, Satanist, palm reader, fortune teller, tarot card reader, medium and physic operates out of.
Pretty much, it is a form of spell casting. It is prophesying through an evil spirit and if the one who hears it or agrees with the evil spirit’s prophecy, basically, receives the word, then it comes to pass and manifest. By this you also become a part of the witchcraft. Remember what the LORD says, ‘we have the power of life and death in our tongue’. This cannot get any clearer! Your tongue can produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit which is LIFE or your tongue can produce the fruit of Satan which is DEATH. It is the same as word cursing. We are blessed people and an anointed people, who have ‘authority over principalities and authorities of darkness in heavenly realms’. What do you think that means? I’ll tell you what it means. We have control over demonic spirits hence the “principalities of darkness”. The demons are referred to as being in heavenly realms because they are in a spiritual place; a realm other than ours. We are in a fleshly, natural realm because we are still in our fleshy, natural bodies. We humans are terrestrial and the spirits/demons are celestial. They know you have authority over them and are more than willing to carry out any spiritual upset or demise that you wish and the reason for this is because they are at war with GOD. They will take any chance they get to destroy us and the church, so we must guard ourselves and our tongues as God our heavenly Father says; keeping on the full armor of God.
(Mark 13:22) for false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will show signs and wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, the elect.
(Matthew 24:24) For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect--if that were possible
(Acts 16:16) It happened that as we were going to the place of prayer, a slave-girl having a spirit of divination met us, who was bringing her masters much profit by fortune-telling.
These people are tapped or tap into a spiritual source and do things that are spiritual in order to convince you to believe in what they are doing and saying. The intention of this spirit is to obtain a position in your life and to gain your trust and devotion. This way it will be easy to confuse you and control through your relationship. Look at the magnitude in which God uses here; He is saying that the signs and wonders will be GREAT! He says they will arise! They will show signs in order to lead people away! It is obvious by God’s Word and by the things in this world that Satan and his angels (demons) are here and that because we belong to God, Satan’s enemy, we are his enemy too! We can’t keep sticking our heads in the clouds and in the sand overlooking the nature (fruits) of these people because of a sign or wonder! How is that protecting the church then?!?!? Let me be clear though, I do not mean from religious stand points. I am talking about the excuses they make for their sin why they parade around in it but hide it, by trying to mask themselves as followers of God; twisting and perverting His Word to manipulate others. This is the blind leading the blind! People make mistakes but are they aware of them and turning from their sin or are they making excuses for it? This is the difference between a follower of Christ and slave to Satan. They will deny themselves, their own desires and pick up their cross if they are true followers of Christ!
Those who seek after a sign will find a sign. It will not necessarily be God who does it though… Jesus does not want you to rely on signs or allow them to hold power over your faith lest you be tricked! If a sign is what you are seeking, you seek a sign, NOT the truth and certainly not what matters (Jesus). Any spiritualist can give you a sign. God can give you the Truth. The Truth is in His Word and to be able to have it, you must seek it, READ IT! Read the Word of God (the Bible). If you are so spiritual that you do not need His Word, you are on the wrong track! You need to turn back! Jesus says that wicked and adulterous people pursue signs and the sign He says they will be given is the one of Jonah.
Jonah was swallowed up by a whale because he ran from God’s direction, His Word. Jonah did not want to carry out the will of God. He ran because of what God told him to do. That is exactly what this perverse generation is doing. So, they too will be swallowed up because they choose not to do the will of God and listen to His word! Scripture reference;
(Matthew 16:4) A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah." Jesus then left them and went away.
The spirit of Divination is in the church, ministries and in religious Holy places. Remember how sneaky and cunning the serpent was when he used God’s word to trick Eve by manipulating it and convincing her to eat from the forbidden fruit? God gave a command to Adam and Satan perverted/twisted it. Refer to this scripture;
Here is the command and God’s words; (Genesis 2:15-17) 15The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.”
Here is Satan twisting God’s Word; (Genesis 3:1) Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"
You see what Satan does? He uses God’s word (scripture) to convince Eve otherwise. This is the same thing that happens in the church and religious circles now a days. The Word of God is taken and twisted in order to hold any power over you, and in that way, it also poses itself as the Truth; when in fact, it is nothing but a lie. When this spirit is at work in a religious setting, circle, church and ministry it will definitely use scripture and pretend that it is the word from God that they are hearing. However, they are only doing the thing that Satan did to Eve in the Garden of Eden; he used God’s commands and words then twisted them to trick her. This is common witchcraft only it is used in religion which makes it religious witchcraft. Like I said earlier, pay attention to their fruit; who they are and how they live and what they do.
Eve refuses the lie at first but Satan does not give up at the first rejection of his advances. See here where Eve first denies him.
Eve’s response; (Genesis 3:2-3) 2“Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied. 3“It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’”
As I said, Satan does not give up. He continues to twist God’s word and now he uses temptation to persuade her. Temptation of power and knowledge so essentially to be like God. That might sound like a good thing at first but we are not in God’s position and do not have His strength and understanding so we cannot bare something so great! This is also the same thing Satan desired himself and which was what banished from God and heaven. So He continues to pursue Eve as continues to pursue all mankind.
Satan’s rebuttal; (Genesis 3:4-4) 4“You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. 5“God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”
Yes and Eve gave in and came into agreement with the word of Satan and it came to pass. After that her and Adam had shame for being naked and knew right from wrong, joy from pain, evil from good and with that they also started aging which eventually brings the end of life hence they die.
Now God gives a warning that those who are perishing, they will believe these signs and wonders and will be convinced of them because God sent them so that they will be condemned for not wanting to accept the Truth and be saved from their desires. Stay away from smooth sayings and prophets who speak of them, it is very likely that they could be under a spirit of Divination. If they speak of things of this world (i.e) money, power, position, question it! It is not that God’s prophets do not give words of edification but it will not be lustful or tempting… it should be confirmation of What God has already told you or what God is already.
( 2 Thessalonians 2 :9) 9The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, 10and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.
