What a great morning at the Treynor Days Community worship! It was great to see so many people and have everyone join together to serve the community after worship. We made 500 sack lunches for New Visions Homeless Services and Open Door Mission. We also repackaged many boxes of diapers for the Swaddling Clothes Project at Timothy Lutheran Church and tied quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Thank you to everyone who helped with set up, worship, managing the projects, and delivering goods to the agencies above.

We are back!! Our mission trip to serve in Omaha, Sioux Falls and Sioux City was awesome! We served at some wonderful ministries that are helping change people’s lives every day and we met some amazing people! We can’t wait to share our experiences and pictures with you on Sunday, July 19th during 9:30 am worship.

We remember with love our dear Betty and mourn with her family as they live without her graceful presence. We will celebrate Betty's life during a visition from 5-7 pm on July 1 and funeral on July 2 at 10:30 a.m. at church.

These are lyrics for two of the songs our kids lead at worship today. Through song and scripture, they shared all that they learned throughout the week. Their preaching may have looked a little different than normal, but God calls all ages to show up and share how God is working in our lives. They definitely shared the good news of God's love for all people. We're thankful for their gifts and willingness to use them.

Come and worship with us this morning at 9:30am as our VBS children and volunteers lead worship and share what they have learned! Come early from 8:30-9:15 for treats and to see the awesome crafts the children made.

And that fast it is over! What a great week of VBS we had with so many wonderful kiddos and amazing volunteers!!!
Thursday- Day 4: we learned that “God is love”. Psalm 136:1 “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.”
Friday - Day 5: we learned that “God is forever”. Psalm 115:18 “But we can praise the Lord both now and forever! Praise the Lord!”
