On Nov 7, the "Looney Lutheran Ladies - Young at Heart" live production will be presented by the St. Joseph Performing Arts Association. The play will be held at the Fulkerson Center on the Northwestern Missouri campus. The address is 4525 Downs Dr., St. Joseph. The play consists of a trio of wacky gals who use music, comedy, and some help from the audience to share their age-old wisdom for living a long, happy life - THE LUTHERAN WAY. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m., with the production at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the performance are $50; tickets for dinner and the performance are $65. Please read the article, "God Gives the growth",in the June/July 2026 issue of the Lutheran Witness. It involves a church in Kansas with 12 members. The district helped them find a "seasoned" pastor, who walked in his neighborhood and visited the unchurched. He knocked on doors and overtime built up trust. The church started growing in membership.

We need your help for some important records for the church. If you have not already done so, please fill out the family information form and give it to Dorothy. Also, the church picture directory is in its final stages. We need some historical information now. If you know when the steeple was installed, or the bulletin board in the yard, or the handicapped ramp, or the flag put up in Larry Booth's honor. Anything you can remember will be helpful. Thanks in advance for your input. You can use this post for your comments, or give them to Diana Blunk or Janet Kalmar.

Easter services will be at 2 p.m. n April 1st. Snacks will be available, beginning at 12:30. Let's fill the church on Easter. Also, the draft of the picture directory is available. It is on the table next to the refreshment table. Once you approve of your picture, please put a check mark next to it.

In a short voter's meeting Sunday, John Hamilton was recognized as our new treasurer. We've been so blessed to have Dianna Hoppe in this position. The first rough draft of the Immanuel picture directory is available. We have a few folks needing newer photos, and we have several missing that are on the current directory. If you know of someone we haven't seen in a while, could you reach out and see if they are wanting to have their photo in the directory. There are folks listed that I have never met. If you have seen the draft and want a different picture, let me know. Thanks.
