During a prayer meeting, the name of the church was divinely revealed from the scripture Deuteronomy 11:29 (K.J.V) -"And it shall come to pass, when the Lord thy God hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shall put the blessings upon Mount Gerizim"; Gerizim means House of Blessings. Nine people were divinely called to start this work, lead by Re

v. Bernard Dixon & Rev. Cardinal Denton. In our first service (5/6/07) the Lord blessed us with a family of 12, making the total attendance 24. Since then the Lord has been blessing us and souls have been added to the church daily such as to be saved.
