Miss a Thurs. miss a lot ! Today we encountered God through his word. Our bible study was centered on reading and applying God's word to everyday situations in our lives.
Journals were given out so we can read and study, then jot down how the Holy Spirit is speaking to us through his word.
We were also blessed by a wonderful lunch prepared by Celeste and Graham.The food was wonderful but time spent with other believers is priceless!

BECAUSE HE LIVES

God sent His son, they called Him Jesus;
He came to love, heal and forgive;
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives!

I had some bad news handed to me this week. My plans were derailed and I had to get my face together as well as my Spirit... Life will hand you interruptions and set backs that you don't want. Life will jump out of the shadows and give you a scare that you weren't ready for....
But, I am a child of God and I plan on staying my course. I will not let bad news determine my steps because my steps are directed by my Father. I refuse to feel defeated when God has been so good to me!~
Brothers and Sisters, what ever you are facing today....what ever the heart break or struggle, Jesus is enough
Romans 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

When we read the Gospels, we see a Savior who was rarely in a hurry. Jesus listened. He asked questions. He made space for interruptions. He sat at tables with those who felt unseen and called people by name who were used to being ignored. We have a golden opportunity: to live a life that looks like Jesus’.
