Dear God, as a new school year begins, we place our children, teachers, staff, and families in Your loving hands.

Please guide our children as they learn and grow. Give them wisdom, confidence, kindness, and courage. Protect them wherever they go and surround them with positive influences and caring hearts.

Bless our teachers and school staff with patience, strength, and understanding as they pour into the lives of our children.

May our schools be places filled with safety, respect, friendship, growth, and hope. Help every child know that they are valued, loved, and never alone.

Lord, watch over our children as they leave home each morning and bring them safely back each afternoon. May this school year be filled with wonderful opportunities, meaningful friendships, and countless blessings.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Wishing all our students, teachers, and families a safe, successful, and blessed school year!

Looking to join our St. Paul Family? We’d love to connect with you! There are two components to our membership process here at St. Paul. GOD Connects provides an overview of the Christian faith to help you know what St. Paul believes. Our next God Connects series will be held on Saturdays, October 3 and 10 at 9am. PLACE Seminars are designed to help you know about and how you can become actively involved in the ministries of St. Paul. They are an hour and a half in length. Our next PLACE Seminar will be held on September 22 at 6:30pm. Are you ready to become a member at St. Paul? Please email Don Busse or call 734-676-1565 for more information about membership or to register for this class.

In the metaphorical grocery store of life, it seems that we all have a wheel that wobbles, pulling us toward worry, comparison, and the wrong aisle of life. But Jesus doesn’t wait for us to roll straight; He takes ahold of us and pushes anyway. In His kingdom, greatness isn’t earned by getting it all together but received like a child who comes empty-handed and fully loved. This weekend let’s discover the grace of a Savior who guides imperfect people with perfect patience, perfect mercy, and a grip that never lets go.
