Thanks to the Lord for safe travels this weekend. especially with the traffic volume that we encountered southwest of Atlanta. What a great blessing to preach for the Berean Baptist Church of McDonough and Kenwood First Baptist Church of Fayetteville, GA. Tomorrow's main job is taking "Star" into Kia for a recall issue and engine service.

"Nothing can compensate the Church, or the individual Christian, for the lack of the Holy Spirit. What the full stream is to the mill wheel, that the Holy Spirit is to the Church.". (F. B. Meyer)

If you follow our ministry you will likely remember our MK-24 project. It is time now to begin planning and preparing for MK-26 schduled for September of this year. As a part of our BMFP Family Retreat held every other year, Pam and I host a program for the Missionary KIds who attend the Retreat. Pam and I have already begun gathering funds for this program. Drop us a message if you would like to give toward ministering to these young missionaries.

As many of you know, my 94 year old Dad has joined with us in a ministry of prayer for our supporting pastors and churches. If you are one of our supporting Pastor's you have likely received an encouraging phone call from Dad. If you have not, he probably does not have a good phone number for you. Thanks to our supporters and friends who have responded kindly to Dad's calls. It literally lives for this ministry.

GETTING THE YEAR STARTED
Our first event of the year took us to West Columbia, SC for our 65th Sunday School Workshop at Revival Baptist Church. It was great to see such an eager group of workers catch a fresh vision of what God might do through their Sunday School Ministry this year. Thanks to Pastor Joshua Lawson and the good folks at RBC for a great Workshop.

Thank the Lord for a great missions conference with Glorious Day Baptist Church of Chanute, KS. Had our photo taken with our young friend and prayer partner Joe Knight who came in for the service one evening. Many thanks to Pastor Randy D**e and the church family for their hospitality.

Praise the Lord for the recent addition of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Chickamauga, GA as a faithful supporter. Pam and I are praying for the addition of at least 4 new supporters this year.

PLEASE, PLEASE give us a call or message us if you might be interested in hosting a Sunday School Workshop or adding CPR Ministries to your Missions Conference this year.

URGENT NEED
Eastridge Extra - August 19,2025

Dear Friends & Supporters,

Allow me to begin with a word of praise to our Lord for His protection. On Friday, August 15 Pam and I were involved in a traffic accident. Pam suffered the worst with some bruises and bad burns from the airbags. Her right hand was also injured and is still swollen. As for myself, I am dealing with the aches and pains of the whiplash affect. Hopefully, we will be able to get some medical and chiropractic treatment started tomorrow after sorting through the red tape of insurance.

Sadly, “Mac” our Ford Explorer did not fare nearly so well. It has been declared a total loss. Materially speaking, this was our most valuable piece of ministry equipment. A safe and reliable vehicle is vitally important for our ministry. Since “Mac” was our only transportation, we are having to rely on a rental car for a few days as we pray and seek the Lord for his direction and provision toward a suitable replacement. This coming on the heels of Mom’s passing and the weight of family responsibility which followed has made our burden even greater. Suffice to say that we need a couple of miracles right now.

Over the years many have said, “If you ever need anything, please let us know.” After much prayer and consideration, I wonder if I might honor your kind request and set this need before you. Rather than go into burdensome debt, we are praying that God will send in enough for a sizable down payment or the purchase of a vehicle suited for our ministry. We would ask that you send any gifts directly to BMFP at the address shown below. Please be sure to mark your gift “Eastridge Vehicle Fund”

Above all, pray. We long so much to learn the lessons which God would teach us through these things. With this we need discernment for the choices which lie before us.

I am a bit late posting our prayer letter. No doubt, some have already received it through another medium Honestly, FaceBook has not been my priority for the past year. We would ask for your continued prayer as we work to balance Dad's future needs with our ministry work.

This is an awful picture from our current travels in Kansas. I am the deshevled looking guy in the background. On Monday, I spent the day alongside Pastor Daniel Knight working on a backed up sewer system. You might notice that I am wearing waders. I will let you figure out why. Suffice to say that this is an aspect of our ministry that really stinks. --- If you are a church member be ready to roll up your sleeves and even put on your waders to help out with church maintenance. Who said serving the Lord always smelled like roses?
