Real, lasting joy comes from devoting your life to something bigger than yourself. God, the Creator of all things, has sent his Son Jesus Christ to redeem the world from sin, rescue his people from judgment, and give them new life. Jesus himself said, "I have come that people might have life, and may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). Following Jesus leads to a life marked by joy and a sense o

f adventure. By his death and resurrection, Jesus frees his followers from the sin, selfishness and narrowness that keeps them chained up, and leads them to a life of creative service to the world. He brings them into a community with other believers and teaches them how to love and support each other. He shows them that holiness isn't boring or tedious, but joyful and life-giving. West Gate Youth Ministries is a community of students (7th - 12th grade) who are seeking to know and follow Jesus more fully. We gladly welcome anyone, no matter your background or doubts. We strive to show others the same love that Jesus has shown us. We are a group of sinners who have been forgiven by what Jesus has done for us, freed from our selfishness and given new life and purpose. We invite you to join with us as we follow Jesus together.
