"As Bishop, I invite all the clergy and faithful of the Diocese of Trenton to embrace that mission as we consider the profound thought and wisdom contained in Pope Leo XIV’s first encyclical letter, Magnifica Humanitas."

Pope Leo XIV has consistently spoken with both hope and caution about artificial intelligence. He recognizes its enormous potential for good, yet...

Statistics show that nearly 20% of marriages end in divorce within the first five years. Knowing this and knowing that our engaged and newlywed couples desire a “Post-Cana” experience, I am thrilled to share two upcoming opportunities for newlyweds (married five years or less) to grow deeper in love with one another and with God.

Did you know? Events like the Diocesan Youth Conference are made possible in part through the support of the Annual Catholic Appeal and the generosity of its donors. In February, nearly 900 teenagers and their adult leaders from more than 45 parishes gathered at St. Joseph Parish and Donovan High School in Toms River for a day centered on the theme “Powerful.”

Young people experienced vibrant praise and worship, heard inspiring talks, participated in service projects, and spent time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Throughout the day, they built friendships, strengthened their faith, and joyfully celebrated their Catholic identity.

Moments like these remind us that, together, we are forming the next generation of faithful, engaged Catholics. Thank you to everyone who has supported the Appeal thus far.
