Is it our money? Our time? Our talents?

In Part 3 of our Keep It 100! series, Pastor Med walks through 2 Corinthians 8–9 and helps us see that God isn’t after a percentage—He’s after a people transformed by grace.

💯 Stewardship is a lordship issue.
💯 God wants more than what’s in your hands—He wants your heart.

This moment from Sunday's message is one we're still sitting with.

Paul points the Corinthian church to the believers in Macedonia as the picture of what grace-produced generosity actually looks like. These people were experiencing severe affliction and extreme poverty. And yet, they gave beyond their ability, of their own accord, and begged Paul to let them participate in the offering.

Nobody guilted them. Nobody pressured them. No lines were called. No manipulation. They just saw a need, trusted God, and gave.

Why? 2 Corinthians 8:5 tells us: "They gave themselves first to the Lord and then to us."

Before God had their resources, He had their hearts. And that's the whole message of this series.

It is possible to give God your money but not your heart. But it is absolutely impossible to give Him your heart and not your money.

Westside family, this month we celebrate Pastor Med's 4-year anniversary and we want to do something simple but meaningful.

We're asking every member of the Westside family to take just 5 minutes today to pray specifically for our pastor. Not just a general "bless him Lord", but intentional, targeted, specific prayer.

Pray for his family. His health. His wisdom. Protection over his life. His ministry. And continued anointing and impact on everyone he touches.

Shepherds carry more than we ever see. They carry the weight of the Word, the needs of the congregation, and the pressures of leadership; often quietly, faithfully, without complaint. The least we can do is lift them up the way they lift us.

Pastor Med, we appreciate you. We pray for you. We're with you. And we love you. 🙏🏽🖤

Happy Father's Day to every man who shows up.

To the fathers raising their children with intention, patience, and love... we celebrate you today.

To the men who are fathering without a blueprint... stepping in where no one stepped in for you, breaking cycles instead of repeating them, we see you, and we honor you.

To those who long to be fathers and are still waiting, and to the ones quietly grieving a father they lost. Today may carry some weight. We're holding space for that too. You are not forgotten today.

And to every man in our Westside family pouring into a child, a niece or nephew, a mentee, a neighbor's kid who just needed somebody, thank you. Fatherhood isn't only biological. Sometimes it's just showing up consistently when it matters most.

GOD calls Himself a Father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5). Whatever today brings up for you, He sees it all.
