The Spirit Still Moves

Pentecost may have been last Sunday, but the work of the Holy Spirit continues every day.

The same Spirit that empowered the early church still inspires us to love our neighbors, seek justice, and share God’s grace in the world around us.

Where is the Spirit leading you this week? Join us this Sunday as we continue walking together in faith and purpose.

Today we pause to remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and love for others remind us of the deep cost of freedom.

As people of faith, we also hold close the promise that God walks with us in both grief and gratitude. We give thanks for those who served, we pray for their families, and we ask for God’s guidance as we seek peace and justice in the world.

May this day be one of remembrance, reflection, and gratitude.

Happy Pentecost!

Today we celebrate the moment the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples like wind and fire, empowering them to share God’s love with the world.

Pentecost reminds us that the Church is not just a building, it is a community filled with God’s Spirit, called to love, serve, and share grace.

Come celebrate with us as we worship, pray, and give thanks for the Spirit that continues to guide us today at 11 AM.

🔥 Come Holy Spirit!

Something is Coming…

Next Sunday we celebrate Pentecost, the day the Holy Spirit filled the disciples with courage, joy, and purpose. What began as a small group of followers became a movement of faith that continues even today.

Pentecost reminds us that God’s Spirit is still moving, bringing life, hope, and renewal to the Church and the world.

Join us next Sunday at 11 AM as we celebrate the birthday of the Church and the power of the Spirit at work among us. We’d love for you to worship with us.

Did you know that part of our history was a fire that left our church building in shambles. But we didn't stop there! Our church Bible was one of the few things unscathed in the ashes. Our mission in Trent did not end all of those years ago! In fact, last Summer we celebrated 125 years of ministry!

You can learn more of our history and who we are at www.trentumc.org.

We would love to meet you where you are in your faith journey! Join us for worship Sundays!

How can we pray for you this week?

"Every day to us is Easter, with its resurrection song.
When the cares of life o'erwhelm us, Easter people, sing this song:
'Alleluia! Alleluia!' Everlasting triumph song." 🎶

"Easter People, Raise Your Voices" (no. 304 in The United Methodist Hymnal) was written by Rev. William Marceus James for his congregation at Metropolitan Community United Methodist Church in New York City. It's a reminder that we live in the reality of Easter and new life.

💭 Where do you see signs of Easter today?
