✨HE IS RISEN ✨

Thank You, Jesus, for conquering sin, death, and the grave! Because You rose, we now walk in victory, hope, and the promise of eternal life. The cross wasn’t the end—it was the beginning of our redemption. Death lost its sting, and the grave lost its power.

“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” – 1 Corinthians 15:55 (NIV)

Today, we rejoice in the power of the resurrection—our Savior lives, and because of Him, so do we. Hallelujah!

When everyone else bows, will you stand?

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego faced an impossible choice: bow to the golden statue or burn in the furnace. Their response? “Our God can deliver us. But even if He doesn’t, we will not bow.” That’s mature faith—trusting God’s character, not just His intervention.

Culture demands our worship daily. It whispers, “Just go along. Don’t make it a big deal.” But real faith obeys God without demanding the outcome. And here’s the miracle: when you refuse to bow, God doesn’t always keep you out of the fire—He meets you IN it. The fourth man in the furnace reminds us we’re never alone.

Where is culture asking you to bow today? Your integrity? Your values? Your speech? Remember: faithfulness may cost you something, but compromise will cost you far more. God is present in your fire.

Hey LifePoint family,

Due to the winter storm, we are going to cancel our 9am service tomorrow. We hope to still hold our 10:30am service. IF it becomes evident that we need to cancel the 10:30am service, we’ll make a decision no later than 8:30am.

Stay safe and warm!

When the most powerful king on earth couldn’t sleep, human wisdom failed. But Daniel showed us something profound: peace doesn’t come from power—it comes from knowing the God who holds the future.

In Daniel 2, we see that crisis reveals what conviction has built. Daniel didn’t suddenly become faithful when facing ex*****on. He had already resolved in his heart to trust God. His response? He gathered his friends to pray, worshiped before he had answers, and trusted God’s sovereignty over human kingdoms.

Here’s the truth: every empire eventually sits behind museum glass. Gold, silver, bronze, iron—all temporary. But God’s kingdom? Eternal. When you trust that God rules history, you can rest in His control over your story. You may not understand the moment, but you can trust the Author.

Where are you panicking instead of praying today?

Bad news: you lose an hour of sleep. 😴Good news: it’s still worth it for church. 🙌⏰ Set your clocks ahead tonight.See yo...

Who are you when the pressure is on? Daniel faced that question as a teenager, taken captive to Babylon and pressured to abandon everything he believed. But here's the powerful truth: he didn't wait until the crisis to decide. He pre-decided his convictions before the test ever came.

Culture will always try to rename what God has already defined. It'll call purity "repression," truth "intolerance," and conviction "hate." But Daniel refused to let outside labels redefine his inside loyalty to God. His strength in the lion's den didn't start in that moment—it began with a private decision over vegetables in Daniel 1.

You don't drift into spiritual strength. You resolve toward it. Where do you need to pre-decide today? Your integrity? Your marriage? Your media intake? Character can't be summoned in a crisis if it's been squandered by compromise. The good news? You can live in Babylon without bowing to it.

THRIVE IN BABYLON | A Study Through Daniel

What does it look like to stand firm when culture shifts?
How do you stay faithful in a world that doesn’t share your values?

As we start this five-part expositional series through the book of Daniel, we walk through the life of Daniel and discover how to live with conviction, courage, and clarity in a modern-day Babylon.

From the dinner table in chapter 1 to the lions’ den in chapter 6, Daniel’s story shows us that faithfulness is formed long before the spotlight hits. Along the way, we encounter fiery furnaces, prophetic dreams, prideful kings, and powerful reminders that God is sovereign over every empire.

This series will challenge you to:
• Anchor your identity in God, not culture
• Pre-decide your convictions before the pressure comes
• Stand firm without becoming harsh
• Trust God’s sovereignty when the world feels unstable
• Finish strong with integrity and influence

Babylon had power. Babylon had brilliance. But Babylon did not have the final word.

Whether you feel surrounded by pressure at school, at work, in leadership, or in your home, this series will equip you to live faithfully, lead boldly, and trust confidently in the God who rules over kingdoms.

You are not here by accident.
You are here on assignment.

It’s time to thrive in Babylon.
