**LHBC MINISTRY UPDATE**

Locust Hill Church Family,
As reflected in the image, our pastor and his wife, Michael and Amanda, have been called to serve as the next leadership for the Catawba River Baptist Association in Morganton, North Carolina. Michael will serve as the Associational Mission Strategist (AMS), working alongside over 60 churches throughout Burke County.

They will begin this new role on June 1, 2026. With this transition, Michael will conclude his ministry at Locust Hill Baptist Church on May 20, 2026 as they prepare for this next season of ministry.

Michael had the opportunity to share this news with many of our church family during our midweek Bible study, and the leadership of LHKids and Overflow were also informed following the service.
While this marks a significant transition for our church family, we are confident that the Lord is at work. We invite you to join us in praying for Michael and Amanda as they follow God’s calling, and for our church as we walk forward in faith. Please also pray for our deacons, who met last night to begin discussing next steps.

God has been faithful to Locust Hill, and we trust Him to guide us into this next chapter!

THIS SUNDAY - Join us in the gym at 5:00 PM for fellowship over a fish fry, then learn about the urgent need for evangelism in Utah and how you can support our team of students serving there this summer.

THIS FALL - Seniors, register while there are still spots left for the Celebrators Conference in October. Speakers include George W. Bush and David Jeremiah, with music by Charles Billingsley, Sandi Patty, and the Gaither Vocal Band and more!
