ICYMI: It’s Not Just a Dream

Sunday morning's message was a powerful reminder that our hope in Christ is real and tangible. We dove into God's Word to explore what the Bible truly says about our eternal home, proving that Heaven is far more than a pleasant thought—it’s a promised reality.

🙏 I) A Promised and Prepared Place

Heaven isn't a vague idea; it's a specific, prepared destination for believers. We read in John 14:2-3: "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." We can rest in the certainty of His promise.

❤️ II) A Place of Relationship and Restoration

The ultimate joy of Heaven is not just the location, but the presence of God and the perfect restoration of all things. We are looking forward to the fulfillment of Revelation 21:3-4: "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

If you missed this service, we hope you'll join us Wednesday at 6:30 pm as we continue to grow in faith together.

Jesus loves you no matter your mistakes.
Jesus loves you no matter how broken you feel. Jesus loves you no matter your doubts.
Jesus loves you no matter how far away you think you’ve wandered.
Jesus loves you no matter what anyone else has said about you.

He loves you so much that He died on the cross for your sins so you could be forgiven and restored.

Come spend some time in His house tomorrow! We would love to welcome you.

Have you ever driven through thick fog? You can’t see very far down the road. You may not know what’s around the next curve, but you keep moving because you trust the road is still there.

Sometimes life feels the same way. We pray, we ask God for direction, but all we can see is what’s right in front of us. The future is hidden. The next step isn’t clear.

But God has never asked us to see the whole road. He simply asks us to trust Him with the next step.

📖 “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:7

When the fog is thick, don’t panic because you can’t see ahead. The One leading you can see perfectly. He knows every curve, every turn, every obstacle, and exactly where the road leads.

Keep going. Keep praying. Keep trusting.
You may not be able to see the way ahead, but God does. ❤️

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6

🙏 Trust the Guide when you can’t see the road.

Are you facing a dark season or a stormy cloud in your life today? 🌧️

Take heart! The same God who hung His (rain)bow in the clouds as a permanent promise to His people is watching over you. No matter how heavy the storm gets, His faithfulness remains greater than any cloud.

"I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth." — Genesis 9:13

When life brings the rain, remember that our God keeps His word. He is a God of mercy, hope, and unfailing love. 🙌

We would love to see you this Sunday as we gather to worship the One who holds the storms in His hands.

As we mourn the passing of Dolly Parton, our hearts are reminded that this world is not our home. While she brought so much joy and light to this earth, our ultimate hope is anchored not in the things of this world, but in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the eternal home He has prepared for those who believe in Him.

Death is hard, and saying goodbye brings sorrow, but for the believer, it is also a transition into glory where sickness, pain, and sorrow are no more. What a glorious reunion it is for those who know Christ to leave this temporary valley and enter into His eternal presence.

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus today and find absolute peace in the promises of His Holy Word: "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die." — John 11:25–26

Please pray for comfort for her family and everyone mourning a loss today, asking the Lord to wrap them in His peace and sustaining grace. 🦋

Even when the pews are quiet and the building is empty during the week, please know that prayers are still going up for our community, our families, and our homes.

The walls of our church may only be gathered together for a few hours during the week, but the body of Christ is active every single day. No matter what you are facing in the middle of your week, you are never walking through it alone.

As Philippians 4:6–7 reminds us:
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Wherever this week has found you—whether you are carrying a heavy load or just need an extra touch of His peace—our church family wants to stand with you in prayer.

What is one specific thing we can lift up to the Lord for you today? Drop your prayer requests or a word of praise in the comments below. Let’s go to the Throne Room together. 🙏

In Case You Missed It: Sermon Recap

Let's be honest—how often do we catch ourselves thinking, "I'll finally be happy when..." (when circumstances change, when the bills are paid, or when life smooths out)?
If you missed Sunday's service, we tackled this exact mindset head-on. We looked at Philippians 4:10–13 to discover where true, unshakable joy actually comes from!
DISCOVERING "HAPPINESS" (Philippians 4:10–13)

I) Happiness is NOT dependent on our circumstances.
Scripture: "Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content." — Philippians 4:11

II) Happiness is a learned attitude and NOT something we achieve.

Scripture: "I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need." — Philippians 4:12

III) Happiness does NOT come from prosperity nor does poverty take it away.
Scripture: "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." — Philippians 4:13

IV) Happiness comes from Christ and it's NOT in life's variables.
Scripture: "Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice." — Philippians 4:4

Key Takeaway: True contentment isn't tied to our changing surroundings, bank accounts, or life's uncertainties. It is found completely anchored in Jesus Christ, who gives us the strength to stand firm through every season!

We would love to hear from you in the comments: Which point from Sunday's message resonated with you the most?
