Every day, the world is working overtime to shape their minds, their values, and their identity. If we don’t intentionally teach them truth, someone else will teach them something else.

Vacation Bible School isn’t just crafts and songs. It’s seeds being planted. It’s truth being spoken. It’s a foundation being built that they can stand on when everything else feels uncertain.

The time we invest in them today will echo in the choices they make tomorrow.

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” -Proverbs 22:6

Let’s be a church that doesn’t just hope the next generation finds their way—but one that shows them, teaches them, and walks with them in it.

There’s a line in a song that’s been on my mind: “The Jesus I know now ain’t raising a brow…”

Nothing about you has ever shocked Him. Not your past. Not your struggles. Not what’s done in the dark.

We worry about how we look to others, but Jesus sees the real us—heart and all.

And still… He doesn’t turn away.

The Jesus we know now isn’t surprised by your sin— He already paid for it.

But He does expect something from us...

Confession isn’t telling Him something new- it’s agreeing with Him, taking responsibility, and turning from it.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive…”— 1 John 1:9

You don’t have to pretend.
Just come clean… and come to Him.

ICYMI – Sunday’s Message Recap

“Standing at the Door Without”
📖 John 18:1–18

Sometimes we find ourselves like Peter… close enough to see what’s happening, but still standing on the outside looking in.

🔹 The Position of Peter

🔹 The Presence of Christ

🔹 The Proposition of the World

👉 The question for us today: Are we standing with Him… or standing without?

“And Peter stood at the door without.” (John 18:16)

If you missed it, take some time today to reflect on where you’re standing. ❤️

The reflection is a reminder… still waters reveal what rushing waters cannot.

Sometimes God allows stillness in our lives so we can see more clearly, hear Him more plainly, and trust Him more deeply.

“He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”
— Psalm 23:2–3

He knows exactly how to bring peace to a weary heart.

Not every day feels blessed.
Not every mood is peaceful.
And not everything in life is okay.

Sometimes you’re just aggravated… and for good reason.

📖 “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:” — Ephesians 4:26

Being angry isn’t the problem. What you do with it is.

Don’t let a bad moment turn into a bad spirit.
Don’t let frustration take control of your mouth, your attitude, or your decisions.

Take a minute.
Reset your heart.
Give it to God before it grows into something bigger.

Because even on hard days… how we respond still matters.

New week.
New mercies.
Same faithful God.

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22–23
