🍎SCHOOL IS BACK IN SESSION!

Tomorrow, EBC Academy begins another school year and we are so excited! Will you pray with us for God to use these ❤26❤ TEACHERS and ❤100❤ STUDENTS to bless Travelers Rest and the surrounding area for years to come?

The Academy God has grown allows us to give these preschoolers an amazing curriculum that comes from a Christian world view. If you see one of these beautiful educators, thank them for what they are doing to change our world, one student at a time.

It’s another round of TBT! This couple is a treasure!

You may recognize this lovely lady as a former school teacher. She’s still teaching and using her gifts at Enoree in our Sunday School Department. Her husband brightens everyone’s day with his smile and twinkle in his eye.

As we approach the 175th Anniversary of Enoree Baptist Church, we invite you to enjoy a special two-part video presentation from our youngest member, Graham Plyler.

Please also remember that our Founders Day Celebration is coming up on Sunday, August 30th. The schedule for the day is as follows:

- 9:45 AM: Special Video Presentation
- 10:00 AM: Musical performance by NGU's "Joyful Sound"
- 10:30 AM: Worship Celebration and a special message from Dr. Steve Crouse

We continue our journey to celebrating 175 years by sharing this "birth story" with you. 🔻

Enoree Baptist Church was organized on August 30, 1851, with seventeen charter members who first gathered in a log cabin. Those founding members were Joseph Cooper, Mr. Powell, John Bishop, Aaron Springfield, Aaron Bishop, William Taylor, Cassandra Fowler Cooper, Permela Bishop, Frances Powell, Frances Green, Nancy Benson, M. L. Bishop, Marguerite Bishop, Polly Bishop, Elizabeth Bishop, Mary Springfield, and one unidentified man whose name has been lost to history due to his name being illegible.

The charter members united around this covenant of faith:

"We, the undersigned brethren and sisters, have embodied ourselves together as professed believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and being desirous to live together in a Christian church relation agree: One, to take the Holy Bible, containing the Old and New Testaments as the only enduring standard of faith and our only body of union. Second, the Lord Jesus Christ the only head of the church. Lastly, we count and surely agree to pray for and to assist each other in all matters of distress so far as God in His Providence may enable us, as a church established upon the Gospel."

Wednesday evening was so special! Our boys and girls on mission this summer got to present our mission partner, Austin O’Donald, with the money we raised in VBS for his ministry in Baltimore!

Pray for these students as most of them have re-entered their personal mission field, school. Pray that God will use them to be a light pointing to Jesus as they interact with educators and peers.
