Sunday night, as the sun was setting, we ventured into our city streets to make Jesus known. For two hours, we simply served the people God placed before us.
But something remarkable happened.
As we were looking for those whom God wanted us to minister to, there were people who were looking for us.
Over the years, we’ve learned the importance of simply showing up being present, listening, praying, and letting people know that we care. And tonight, we were reminded why that matters.
People we’ve met along the way told us they were looking for us because they needed prayer, encouragement, and someone to remind them that they weren’t forgotten.
Sometimes ministry is as simple as showing up consistently and loving people right where they are.
We’re thankful that God continues to open doors for us to make Jesus known in our city.
