There are approximately 4,475 graves in the cemetery (of these about 60 are unmarked and an additional 70 "surname" burials, i.e. The cemetery is accepting burials. It is attractive and well-maintained and sits on a small hill at the edge of town with a panoramic view of the corn fields and bean fields below.

This Sunday June 7th will mark two weeks after Memorial Day. Per Buckingham cemetery ordinances, all flowers, lights and anything not attached to the monument or concrete will be disposed of. We appreciate you picking up anything you want to keep before this Sunday. This greatly enhances the looks of our cemetery and allows our grounds crew to maintain its appearance much easier. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!!

Anything not picked up before April 20th will be disposed of.
