SINCE WE DID NOT RECORD SERVICE...HERE ARE SOME KEY NOTES FROM A SPIRITUAL VIRUS.....these are my notes and express what Bro Randy preached, not his exact words...
.IF THE FOUNDATIONS BE DESTROYED, WHAT CAN THE RIGHTEOUS DO Ps 11:3
There is a spiritual virus spreading rapidly throughout the church today…..causing a lethargy that changed our appetite, we are no longer hungry for the things of God….we have no time for the altar and no time for the Word…no time to sit at His feet…….This virus is causing spiritual decline, division and lukewarmness in the body….which will destroy the foundation!
What can the righteous…the individual and the body as a whole, do to protect the foundation before it is completely destroyed?
**Acknowledge the sickness, be honest before the Lord, repent and return to Christ as the Chief Cornerstone….not just as Savior, but as Lord of all
**A return to trusting, standing on and obeying the Word of God in scripture
**Return to our knees with tears in our eyes in humble and fervent prayer…
**Be filled with power of the Holy Ghost…continually!
**Remain teachable and open to instruction, correction and chastisement.
**Fight the good fight of faith clothed in the full armor of God, with your shield up and your sword drawn…..We are soldiers!!
**Bring every thought captive to the knowledge of Christ, demolishing strongholds in your mind
**Be modest….this does not just mean how you dress, it includes it, but being modest is an attitude.
True modesty does not draw attention to self, rather it is humble, free from pride and vanity...not focused on self, but on others..
it is remaining submissive to the Lord,
an outward expression of the inward state of the heart...
it is discretion with what you say and how you say it...and in your behavior...in private and public
**Pray for discernment
**Offer your body as a living sacrifice to God, holy and acceptable to God which is your reasonable service
**Do not be conformed to the world and it’s culture....
with it’s pleasures and treasures and distractions
rather, let your mind be renewed by the transforming power of the Word of God
**Be faithful to attend your church, come with expectancy, worship, listen to the Word with your heart, and go to the altar!!
