As the fall season returns and many of us resume the rhythms and responsibilities of daily work and life, the scripture reminds us who we truly serve. To understand all of our work as done “unto the Lord” renews our motivation and frees us from anxious people-pleasing, allowing us to live out our true and holy calling in whatever task we find before us.

Our annual clothing giveaway is back and the collection is open!

Donate new or gently used fall and winter clothing for men, women, and children (no summer items, please!). Suitcases and reusable bags are also welcome!

🔹 Place your items in a bag.
🔹 Label it “Clothing Give-Away”.
🔹 Drop off at Central in bins located in the concourse.

An orchestra is an organism filled with spiritual gifts. Each section has its voice, pauses, and cues, so it is essential that they listen to each other attentively. The unity of a symphony depends on each person giving up the right to play whatever they want. If we do not give up this right, then we have no place in God's orchestra, no matter how brilliantly we play. We need to watch the baton of the Holy Spirit, and practice our part. No instrument plays itself. In these three spiritual truths of composition, baton, and voice we have a metaphor for the Spirit-filled servant living in God's will.
