It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear brother Del Morris from Mountain Valley Church.

Del, served as an elder, provided leadership at the local Food Bank, and poured his heart into countless other areas of ministry. Del was the definition of a kind, gentle, and loving man. What brought him the most joy was sharing the good news of Jesus with anyone who would listen.

If you were blessed to know Del, there’s a very good chance he spoke words of encouragement into your life that helped you draw closer to the Lord.

He had a special way of lifting people up and pointing them to Christ.

While his absence leaves a tremendous void in our church family and in the lives of all who loved him, we rejoice knowing that he is finally in the arms of Jesus who he spoke about so often. He is at peace, and reunited with his beloved wife Barb in the presence of our Savior.

Please keep Del’s family and all who loved him in your prayers during this time. May we all be inspired by his faithful example and commit to carrying on the legacy of love and service he showed so well.
“Well done, good and faithful servant…” (Matthew 25:21)

Rest in peace, Del. You will be greatly missed.

Father’s Day family camp out! You don’t have to stay overnight, you can just come to fish or hang out! You could even bring a picnic meal for your family and joining everyone for a meal. This event was awesome last year. We can’t wait to do it again!
