Safe Harbor friends,
This Sunday is the beginning of my ministry at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church. I have been connected in one fashion or another with Good Shepherd since 1993. This congregation was in my prayers while my brother served there, as they went though hard times when he died in 2004 and through the ups and downs ever since. My affection for the place and people runs deep.

Now I have the opportunity to love on the congregation and community as we hope to have a new beginning of sorts. I am hoping you can help.

Would you encourage us with this new start by honoring us with your presence this coming Sunday, 4/23/23, at 9:30 am? We will also have a Discovery class (really a discussion) after service. I realize this is a bit of a last minute invitation. None-the-less, if you feel you can make it, it would be a great encouragement if you could cheer us on this coming Sunday.

My prayer for many years has been for Good Shepherd to find its way to fruitful ministry that blesses the community and honors the Lord. Now, I have the chance to help with that mission. Please consider coming this Sunday and praying for us as start this new adventure!

Today, the Missouri Presbytery of the PCA approved my work as interim pastor at Good Shepherd PCA. I starting preaching regularly at GSPC this Sunday, 4/23/23 and I invite any and all interested parties to join us for worship. Even if you aren't looking for a new church, come and encourage this congregation's new start with your presence! Worship at 9:30 am followed by a Discovery Class (discussion, really) afterwards. The sermon... For What Do We Hope? (Nehemiah 8:9-12). I hope to see you there!

Join us this Sunday for our last worship gathering before joining Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church! We will have an extended time of fellowship and prayer as well as the Lord's Supper. I hope to see you there!

Safe Harbor Friends,
I wanted to let you know that I have decided to take on the role of part-time interim pastor at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church and will seek to merge the ministries of Safe Harbor and Good Shepherd. Please pray for these efforts to be for the advancement of God's kingdom. Details are yet to be worked out but we will get them to you when we have them.

One thing I can tell you is that Safe Harbor will join Good Shepherd this Sunday for Easter Services. Here are the details...

Safe Harbor Friends,
Due to vacations and a commitment I have out of town, we will not have worship tomorrow, BUT…

I would encourage you to livestream the service from West Lisbon Church in IL. Why?

Many of you know Andrew Seley. He preached at Safe Harbor in April. Well, he will be installed as West Lisbon’s new pastor tomorrow morning and I will participate in that service. The service is at 10 AM and you can find the livestream here: https://westlisbon.com/

Next week, we will be back on track for service at 10:30 am and start the new sermon series from the Revelation… Overcomers!

Wanted to make you were aware of a few things:
1. We will worship tomorrow at Westminster (9/10 Commons) at 10:30 am. We continue our walk through the Gospel of Luke and Christ’s Journey to the Cross! Tomorrow’s sermon: Cleansing Is Painful, Luke19:45-48!

2. Tonight is DaylIght Savings… Spring Forward! So set your clocks appropriately!

3. The new official mask policy now coheres with St. Louis County… masks are optional!

We will also celebrate the Lord’s Supper. I hope you can join us even if its just a one time visit.

There was very little snow and the the roads look to be in good condition. We are a go for church this morning! There may be a glazing of ice on your car so leave a little extra time to clean it off. See you all soon!

Safe Harbor folks! It doesn't look like there will be significant snow accumulations but there may be icy road conditions. So plan on church going on as usual but look for emails, FB post and texts for updates tomorrow morning.
