SHARING GOD'S BLESSINGS
St. Peter's Outreach Ministries (January-June, 2021)
Every Sunday, offerings not enclosed in an envelope are designated Loose Offerings and support a different outreach ministry or need each month. The recipients of Loose Offerings for the first half of 2021 are Christ's Open Marketplace (local Methodist food pantry), Williams Valley Ministerium (emergency fund), Miles4Michael (local charity helping families faced with serious medical issues), the Lebanon VA HUD-VASH homeless veterans programs (support in finding housing for vets), and Bethesda Mission (homeless programs). July's Loose Offerings will go to the ELCA World Hunger programs. By combining our loose offerings, we are able to provide funds toward needs in our community and around the world. Thanks to all those who continue to share their blessings!

JOIN US FOR QUILTING!
St. Peter's Quilting group will meet this Tuesday, June 29, from 9:00 am to noon. If you can thread a needle or tie a knot, we can use your help. Quilts are knotted every other Tuesday. Finished quilts are sent out twice a year. Quilts made from December through May are sent to Lutheran World Relief for distribution in refugee camps and communities in poverty worldwide. Quilts made from June through November are sent to the Navajo Evangelical Lutheran Mission in Rock Point, Arizona, to be included in their Christmas quilt giveaway. Quilts not only provide warmth but can be used to provide shade, to hold produce in the marketplace, and even as a sling to carry a small child on its mother's back. We invite you to join us in this important Outreach Ministry. We are also looking for volunteers to work at home between Quilting sessions to cut patches. Fabric and a pattern will be provided. Also needed are volunteers who can sew the patches together to make quilt tops. You do not need to be a member of St. Peter's to join the Quilters. Come be a part of the fellowship as we work to share God's blessings. Everyone is welcome!
