Join us at 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at the Coe Memorial Park Civic Center for the greater Torrington area observance of the 75th Annual National Day of Prayer. Signed into law in 1952 by Harry S. Truman, with a long history, dating back before the first Congress, each President is compelled to designate a day for our nation to pray for itself. Renewed in law in 1988 to be the First Thursday in May, the faithful gather to pray for our nation in seven centers of influence: Government, Military, Media Arts, Business, Education, Church, and Family. Nearly 150 believers in the greater Torrington area make it a priority to gather annually in prayer on this day. We hope you will consider being one of them and will share this invitation with others. This year's theme: "Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples." 1 Chronicles 16:24

Here are some pics from our event on May 1, 2025.
